Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently illuminate all of a room without restriction whether a wall switch exists or not or restriction of the types of the switch by connecting a remote control transmitter to an electric power source outlet and lighting a luminaire, which is a receiver, by transmitting radio waves at the time of service interruption. SOLUTION: When a remote control transmitter 1 is inserted into an electric power outlet 2, since a battery 8 is built in the remote control transmitter 1, turning on or off of a luminaire 7 can be carried out even under the condition where the remote control transmitter 1 is taken out of the outlet 2. In the case electric supply to the electric power outlet 2 is stopped due to commercial electric power supply failure, radio waves are oscillated from the remote control transmitter 1. The transmitted radio waves 3 are received by a light receiving apparatus 4 of the luminaire 7 and a light source 6 in the luminaire is turned on. At this point, since no commercial electric power is supplied to the luminaire 7, the battery 5 previously built in the luminaire is utilized and the light source 6 can be turned on by power-supplying from the battery. Consequently, without any restriction that whether a wall switch exists or not or restriction of the types of switches, the whole area of a room can be efficiently illuminated.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 2, when a firefly switch 9 is used as a wall switch, a built-in auxiliary light 91 is turned on when the firefly switch 9 is off. On the other hand, the battery 5 is mounted on the lighting fixture 7 for main lighting wired via the firefly switch 9, and the light source 6 is turned on by power supply from the battery 5 at the time of a power failure. Since the detection of the power failure is performed via the firefly switch 9, the switch 9 in this case must be a firefly switch that is energized even when the switch is off. In the conventional example shown in FIG. 3, a lighting fixture 11 is attached to a power outlet 2, and a built-in security ball 7 is turned on when a power failure occurs.

In the method of FIG. 2, the firefly switch 9 is indispensable for detecting a power failure. However, the work of changing the general on / off switch to the firefly switch 9 involves wiring work. For this reason, the installation place of the emergency light type lighting fixture 7 is limited. In the case of FIG. 3, only the vicinity of the power outlet 2 can be illuminated. An object of the present invention is to provide a lighting device with an emergency light function that can be implemented regardless of the presence or absence of a wall switch and the structure of the wall switch and that can brighten the entire room.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In the present invention, a lighting fixture having a remote control function and having a remote control transmitter is used. When a battery is mounted on the lighting apparatus and the power supply is interrupted while the remote control transmitter is connected to a power outlet, a signal for lighting the lighting apparatus with the battery is transmitted from the remote control transmitter. Along with this, it is turned on by the power supply from the battery and illuminates the entire room.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. The remote control transmitter 1 is plugged into a power outlet 2. Since the remote control transmitter 1 has a built-in battery 8, even when the remote control transmitter 1 is detached from the condensate 2, the lighting fixture 7
The operation such as blinking is possible. In the state shown in FIG. 1, when the power outlet 2 is not charged due to a power failure of the commercial power supply, a radio wave 3 is oscillated from the remote control transmitter 2. Radio wave 3
Is received by the light receiver 4 of the lighting fixture 7, and the light source (fluorescent lamp) 6 in the fixture is turned on. At this time, since there is no power supply from the commercial power supply to the lighting fixture 7, the battery 5 mounted in advance is used.
And the light source 6 is turned on by the power supply therefrom.
