Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the force required in connecting and disconnecting a card edge board to/from a card edge connector. SOLUTION: A pair of side plates 2, 3 are provided with hinges so as to be rotated around a shaft 4 for opening and closing, and a card edge board 1 is connected and disconnected to/from a card edge connector in an opened state of the side plates 2, 3. An inside surface of each side plate 2, 3 is formed with each shallow recess 5, 6, in which an edge of the card edge bard 1 is to be fitted. The edge of the card edge board 1 is provided with a terminal 7 in both surfaces thereof, and an inner surface of each recess 5, 6 is provided with a contact 8. A latch 9 formed of a plate spring is fixed to the side plate 3, and a claw 10 provided in the latch 9 is hooked on the side plate 2 so as to maintain the side plates 2, 3 in a closed state.
