Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily set attenuation characteristics and improve mass productivity by attaching a mass capable of horizontally moving with vibration of a building to a part necessary for damping and disposing a magnetic damper between the mass and the building. SOLUTION: A mass 3 capable of horizontally moving with vibration of a building is attached to a part necessary for damping in the building, namely, a floor or a ceiling beam 1, and a magnetic damper 12 is disposed between the mass 3 and the building. When vibration occurs on the floor or the ceiling beam 1 in the X-direction or the Y-direction, the vibration between the floor or the ceiling beam 1 and a frame 2 and that with the mass 3 are buffered by an X-directional coil spring 7, and the vibration is attenuated by a magnetic damper 12. The intermediate vibration between the X-direction and the Y- direction moves in the composition direction along X- and Y-axes by composed force proportional to a ratio of the X-directional to the Y-directional and is attenuated by the magnetic damper 12. The magnetic damper 12 can be set at arbitrary attenuation intensity by changing combination of magnetic flux density and magnetic poles and can easily respond to a design condition.

As a vibration damping device for a building lower than a high-rise building, for example, a house, a mass weight of 10 is required.
Since the frequency is from about kgf to several hundreds kgf, the natural frequency is about 3 to 7 Hz, and the maximum displacement is about 10 mm, the conventional vibration damping device for a high-rise building cannot be reduced in size and used. For example, in a weight supporting method, a rail roller method has a large resistance, and a swing type has an excessively short swing length. The multi-layer rubber system does not need to be multi-stage when the target building is light in weight and small in displacement.
In this sense, an effective horizontal vibration damper for small buildings has not yet been developed.
Therefore, development of such a vibration damping device for a small building is desired.

According to the present invention, a mass which can move in the horizontal direction as the building is vibrated is attached to a place in the building where vibration is required, and a magnetic damper is arranged between the mass and the building. This is a vibration damping device for a building, characterized by being formed as follows. More specifically, above the floor or ceiling beam of the building, the mass is fixed to the axis of the housing in the X-axis direction and / or the Y-axis direction via a linear motion bearing, and an elastic body is attached thereto. Further, a magnetic damper for damping horizontal vibration is disposed between the mass and the floor or ceiling beam or between the mass and the frame. The present invention is effective for reducing traffic vibration of small-scale buildings such as prefabricated houses and wooden houses and vibrations in strong winds. A coil spring can be effectively used as an elastic body attached to the linear motion bearing.

[0005] In a building, the places where vibration is required are floors, ceilings, rooftops or floor beams of the building. If vibrations occur in the X-axis direction or the Y-axis direction, respectively, And the mass vibration resonate by the action of a coil spring or the like, and are attenuated by the magnetic damper. The vibration in the middle between the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction moves in the synthesis direction proportional to the ratio of the magnitude of the vibration in the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction, and is attenuated by the magnetic damper. In order to be able to apply a vibration control device with a constant natural frequency to buildings with other natural frequencies, in addition to the constant mass, the mass of various weights, the weight of the housing, or the spring constant of the coil spring must be determined. Be able to change and adjust. Adjustment of the weight of the mass is performed by overlapping masses of a predetermined size. The magnetic damper does not have a contact part, generates a damping force by the action of magnet attraction, repulsion or eddy current, and operates with small acceleration of input vibration,
Any damping strength can be easily set by the combination of the magnetic flux density and the magnetic poles.

With such a configuration, when vibration occurs in the floor or ceiling beam 1 in the X direction, the vibration of the floor or ceiling beam 1 and the frame 2 and the vibration of the mass 3 are buffered by the X direction coil spring 7. The vibration is attenuated by the magnetic damper 12. Y
Directional vibrations are similarly damped. Vibration in the middle between the X and Y directions is caused by the resultant force proportional to the ratio between the X and Y directions.
It moves in the combined direction along both the X-axis and the Y-axis, and is attenuated by the magnetic damper 12. Further, the weight of the mass can be adjusted so as to be applicable to a desired natural frequency.

According to the present invention, since a magnetic damper is used as a vibration damping device for a vibration damper in the X and Y directions, the damping characteristics can be set arbitrarily, and the damping characteristics can be adjusted according to the desired damping characteristics. Suitable for mass production because there is no need to separate. That is, the magnetic damper can be set to an arbitrary attenuation strength by changing the combination of the magnetic flux density and the magnetic poles or the properties of the conductor that induces the turbid current, so that it is easy to cope with the design conditions.
