Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coat hunger for an automobile assist grip, which is attached to or detached from an assist grip with no fear of loosening and falling off and has sufficient holding force and improved appearances. SOLUTION: A ring part having a hook 2a projecting therefrom adapted to be fitted around an elliptically-sectioned, specially-formed assist grip 1 is partly cut, and is then formed at its one end with an engaging pawl 2e and at the other end with an engaging hole 2b through which the engaging pawl 2e is inserted for their engagement and also with a concealing part 2g for concealing the engaging pawl 2e inserted through the engaging hole 2b for engagement. The ring part is provided at part of its inner periphery with a projection 2c adapted to be pressed on the outer periphery of the assist grip 1. The thickness T1 of the ring part on the side where the hook 2a is projected is made larger than that T2 on the side where the engaging pawl 2e and the engaging hole 2b are provided.
