Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically improve the strength of a side plate by a method wherein a protruding stripe which is formed on an upper side plate and a groove which is formed on a lower side plate, are fitted, and also, a protruding stripe which is formed on the lower side plate and a groove which is formed on the upper side plate, are fitted. SOLUTION: For this folding container for transport, a groove 14 which is formed on a vertical rib 13 of an upper side plate 6, and a protruding stripe 12 which is formed on the internal side surface of an external side wall 10 of an upper frame body 1, are fitted when this folding container is built up by engaging an engaging part which is provided on the bottom end of a gate plate 9, with an engaging part which is provided at an end part of a bottom plate 2. Then, at every specified part of the side plate, a protruding stripe which is formed on the external side surface of a downward protruding piece of the upper side plate 6, and a groove which is formed on the internal surface of a recessed part of a lower side plate 5, are fitted, and also, a protruding stripe 21 which is formed on the external surface of an upward protruding piece 19, and a groove 22 which is formed on the internal surface of a recessed part 20 of the upper side plate 6, are fitted. By this method, the side plates can be prevented from deforming when a pressure from an article housed inside or from the outside is put on it, and a large strength can be imparted to the side plates.

Description of the Related Art An upper frame, a bottom plate, and an upper side plate and a lower side plate which are attached to be rotatable with respect to the upper frame and the bottom plate, and are connected so as to be bent inward by a connecting shaft. Although a folding transport container having a side plate consisting of and a tilt plate attached so as to be rotatable with respect to the upper frame body is used, by folding it,
There is a disadvantage that the strength of the side plate is reduced, the side plate swells outward due to the pressure from the articles stored inside, or the side plate is deformed inward when pressure is applied from the outside, and the articles stored inside are damaged. Was.

Therefore, in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 55-36350, the lower end of the upper side plate and the upper end of the lower side plate are provided with a concave portion and a key-like projecting portion which can be fitted with the concave portion to improve the strength of the side plate. However, it was not possible to sufficiently improve the strength of the side plate only by providing a concave portion and a key-like protruding portion capable of fitting with the concave portion at the lower end of the upper side plate and the upper end of the lower side plate.
