Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger which uses no exclusive component for preventing scattering of a waterdrop sticking to a connecting part of a heat transfer tube, enables reduction of the number of components and the number of operating processes and is advantageous to the cost. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger facing an inlet in the front of the main body of an indoor machine and being disposed vertically is constructed of fins 12 which have a plurality of through holes respectively and are stacked in large numbers at prescribed intervals and in parallel, side plates 13 which hold the stacked fins 12 on the opposite sides and have a plurality of insertion holes respectively, a plurality of hairpin-shaped heat transfer tubes 14 which are inserted horizontally through the through holes and the insertion holes and connecting tubes 14 which connect the respective upper and lower opening ends of these heat transfer tubes 14 sequentially. In this case, water leading pieces 16 projecting perpendicularly are formed by cutting and raising between the heat transfer tubes 14 on the side plates 13 respectively.

The front panel 24 is provided with a suction port 25 for taking in room air, and a lower part of the front surface is formed with a blowout port 26 for sending heat-exchanged air into the room. An air filter 27, a heat exchanger 29 and a blower (cross flow fan) 30 are arranged in an air passage 27 connecting the suction port 25 and the outlet 26, and the air exchanged by the heat exchanger 29 is blown by the blower 30. To the outlet 26. Further, a lower part of the heat exchanger 29 is provided with a dew tray 31 for receiving defrost water. The heat exchanger 29 has a plurality of through holes and a plurality of fins 32 stacked in parallel at predetermined intervals.
A side plate 33 having a plurality of insertion holes sandwiching both sides of the stacked fins 32; a plurality of hairpin-shaped heat transfer tubes 34 horizontally inserted through the through holes and the insertion holes;
And a connecting pipe 35 that connects the upper and lower ends of the opening end in order, and is vertically arranged facing the suction port 25 on the front surface of the main body. However, when the heat exchanger 29 is dehumidified, the water droplets 37 adsorbed on the connecting portion of the opening end of the heat transfer tube 34 are scattered and do not fall on the dew tray 31 and wet the inside of the indoor unit, adhere to dust, and rot. There are problems such as generation of off-flavors. Fig. 5
As shown in (1), a scatter prevention device 36 made of a resin molded product or the like having a ring connected up and down is attached to the connecting portion of the heat transfer tube 34 to prevent scatter. However, the use of dedicated parts increases the number of parts and the number of man-hours, causing a problem of disadvantage in cost.
