Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof cover capable of being simply fitted by reducing deformation even if the eccentricity is generated to a cable and a fixed pipe and without enlarging the size. SOLUTION: An elastic cover 4 is constituted of a cylinder section 4b with a small diameter fitted to a cable 2, a cylinder section 4c with a large diameter fitted to a fixed pipe 3 and a conical and cylindrical main body 4a monolithically providing both cylinder sections 4b and 4c coaxially to both ends thereof. Then, bearing surfaces such as both taper surfaces M1 -M4 varying an angle to the axial direction from the midway of the axis in the cylinder section are provided to the inside circumferential surfaces of the cylinder section 4b and 4c, and when the eccentricity is generated to the cable 2 and fixed pipe 3, the bearing surfaces are brought into contact with both of them to reduce deformation caused by twist and strain of the main body section 4a due to the eccentricity, and fitting work efficiency is improved together with the outward appearance.

Figure 9 An invention is to provide a state where the center line L 2 of the center line L 1 and the cable 2 of the fixing tube 3 were almost the same is shown, in this case, the cylindrical portion 10b of the waterproof cover 10, 1
0c is the fixing tube 3 and the cable 2 with almost no eccentricity.
And the main body 10a maintains a normal conical cylindrical shape with almost no deformation. However, in the cable-stayed bridge under construction, the center of the fixing tube 3 and the center of the cable 2 are often displaced due to factors such as a variation in static load and a manufacturing error of the structure, and when the displacement is large, as shown in FIG. There was a problem that the main body 10a of the waterproof cover 10 was greatly deformed.

FIG. 11 shows that the center line L 2 of the cable 2 is shifted downward with respect to the center line L 1 of the fixing tube 3 so as to be close to the maximum value.
Is shown, the waterproof cover 1 in this case is shown.
In the case of 0, the lower side of the main body 10a is compressed in the axial direction to be corrugated, and the opposite upper side is pulled in the axial direction to be tensed. Such deformation of the waterproof cover 10 not only degrades the appearance of the cover, but also requires that the waterproof cover 10 be attached to the cable 2 and the fixing tube 3 while deforming the waterproof cover 10, thereby causing a problem that the mounting workability is deteriorated. .

As a means for solving such a problem, for example, a waterproof cover 13 shown in FIG. 12 is disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 5-54608. The waterproof cover 13 includes a small-diameter cylindrical portion 13b fitted to the cable 2, a large-diameter cylindrical portion 13c fitted to the fixing tube 3, and a main body extending in a conical cylindrical shape from the small-diameter cylindrical portion 13b. The elastic cover 13a has a bellows-like portion 13e for integrally connecting the large-diameter end of the main body 13a and the large-diameter cylindrical portion 13c. As shown in FIG.
When the cable 2 and the cable 2 are eccentric by the amount of eccentricity t, the eccentricity is absorbed by the radial expansion and contraction deformation of the bellows-like portion 13e, thereby suppressing large deformation of the main body 13a. Therefore, the waterproof cover 1
In No. 3, it is known that the mounting work is easy and the appearance of the cover is almost stable.

However, in the case of the waterproof cover 13 shown in FIG.
The width of the bellows portion 13e is determined by the amount of eccentricity t between the fixing tube 3 and the cable 2.
In view of the necessity of setting in consideration of the maximum value, there is a problem that the width is increased and the main body 13a has a large outer diameter. Actually, the waterproof cover has become larger, for example, with an outer diameter of 700 mm and a total length of 600 mm, etc. due to the recent increase in length of the bridge. Not a good idea,
At present, improvement measures are being requested.

Here, the seating surface whose angle with respect to the axial direction changes continuously or stepwise from the middle of the cylindrical portion in the axial direction,
The tapered surface is inclined with respect to the cylinder axis direction, and the curved surface is bent in the cylinder axis direction. If such a seating surface is formed partially or entirely on at least one inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion at both ends of the waterproof cover, the cylindrical cover is fitted when the waterproof cover is fitted to the eccentric cable and the fixing tube. The seating surface of the portion abuts on the cable or the fixing tube, thereby suppressing the deformation of the waterproof cover due to the eccentricity.

Each of the inclination angles θ 1 to θ 4 is substantially the same set value obtained by a calculation formula based on the total length of the waterproof cover 4 and the difference between the outer diameters of the fixing tube 3 and the cable 2. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, when the fixing tube 3 and the cable 2 are eccentric with an eccentric amount t close to the maximum value, the waterproof cover 4 is attached to the fixing tube 3 and the cable 2.
Is freely fitted to the outside without deformation, the waterproof cover 4 moves from the center line L 1 of the fixing tube 3 to the center line L of the cable 2.
2 tilt in the eccentric direction. The center line L 1 of the fixing tube 3 at this time
The inclination angle of the center line of the waterproof cover 4 with respect to is calculated by a calculation formula based on the total length of the waterproof cover 4 and the outer diameter difference between the fixing tube 3 and the cable 2, and the respective inclination angles θ 1 to θ 4 are set.

Therefore, the waterproof cover 4 of the first embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is always attached to the fixing tube 3 and the cable 2 in a good condition as shown in FIG. 2 or FIG. FIG. 2 shows a case where the fixing tube 3 and the cable 2 are not eccentric. In this case, since the respective cylindrical portions 4b and 4c are fitted coaxially around the corresponding cable 2 and the fixing tube 3, 6, the main body 4a is not deformed and the respective cylinders 4b, 4b
The inner peripheral surface of c is elastically deformed and fixed to the cable 2 and the fixing tube 3 in a watertight manner.

[0017] Figure 3 is a case where the cable 2 is eccentric to the fixing tube 3, to tilt waterproof cover 4 in the eccentric direction, the outer tapered surface M 1 located on the slope upper small-diameter cylindrical portion 4b, inclination deformation of the small-diameter side of the body portion 4a by the inner tapered surface M 2 located in the lower contacts the cable 2 is suppressed, the lower slope as an inner tapered surface M 3 located on the slope upper large-diameter cylindrical portion 4c outer tapered surface M 4 where there is deformation of the large diameter side of the main body portion 4a is inhibited by contact with the fixing tube 3. Therefore, even if each of the cylindrical portions 4b and 4c is wound and fastened with the clamp bands 5 and 6, the main body portion 4a is hardly deformed.
The mounting of the waterproof cover 4 in this case can be performed simply as in the case of FIG. 2, and the appearance of the cover after the mounting is also good.

Further, the waterproof cover 4 is provided with the cylindrical portions 4b, 4c.
Since the two tapered surfaces M 1 to M 4 have a structure in which the eccentricity of the fixing tube 3 and the cable 2 is absorbed, the outer diameter of the main body portion 4a needs to be slightly larger than the outer diameter of the fixing tube 3. It is possible to avoid an increase in the diameter.

According to the present invention, the cable and the fixing tube are eccentric when the cylindrical portions at both ends of the waterproof cover are fitted to the cable and the fixing tube for protecting the cable covering the base end thereof and tightened. Since the seat surface formed on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion at a predetermined angle with respect to the axial direction of the cylindrical portion comes into contact with the eccentric cable or the fixing tube to suppress deformation of the main body of the waterproof cover, the waterproof cover is always attached. It becomes simple and the waterproof cover can be attached with a good appearance. Further, since it is only necessary to change the shape of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion of the waterproof cover, it is possible to avoid an increase in the diameter of the main body, and to provide a waterproof cover for cables which is advantageous in appearance and cost.
