The dust soot collected by the conventional electric dust collector is liable to be scattered as it is, so that it is mixed again with the exhaust gas and the separation efficiency of the fine particles is poor. In order to remove the collected dust and soot, the operation of the electric precipitator is stopped, and the dust collection electrode is struck to separate and remove as an aggregate of fine particles. The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, enables continuous operation without stopping operation of the electrostatic precipitator, enables efficient separation of fine particles, and allows the collected soot to adhere to an endless belt as a filter and collect. An object of the present invention is to provide an electrostatic precipitator that does not adhere to dust electrodes.

The operation of the electric precipitator A of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. Dust-containing air or exhaust gas is sucked from the inlet side of the intake pipe 1, and fine particles therein are negatively charged by corona discharge by a discharge electrode 2 provided with a projection 3 at the center of the intake pipe 1, and the discharge electrode 2 is discharged. Is drawn toward a dust collecting electrode 5 made of a metal mesh or a perforated metal plate provided perpendicularly to the flow of the gas to be sucked in from the inlet of the exhaust pipe 4 after the end, and is rotated by a belt driving device 7. It adheres to the belt 8. Since the radius of curvature of the tip of the discharge electrode 2 is extremely small, vigorous corona discharge is generated even at a relatively low voltage. The endless belt to which the fine particles adhere is the dust collection electrode 5
Is moved to the cleaning liquid tank 9 from a position close to the front of the tank. The cleaning liquid 10 is sprayed from the nozzle 12 to the endless belt 8 by the spray pump 11 in the cleaning tank. In the cleaning liquid tank 9,
The cleaning liquid 10 is supplied to the supply tank 14 by the automatic liquid supply device 13.
More replenished. The solids in the cleaning liquid are separated into solid and liquid by the solid-liquid separator 16 together with the cleaning liquid 10 via the pump 15, the solids are discharged, and the cleaning liquid is returned to the cleaning liquid tank and circulated for reuse.

According to the present invention, a vigorous corona discharge can be generated even at a relatively low voltage, dust soot adheres to an endless belt which is a filter, and dust soot is removed in a closed tank. Therefore, without stopping the operation of the electric precipitator, it can be operated continuously to efficiently separate the dust soot and discharge it to the outside of the system. Therefore, it is not mixed again with the exhaust gas exhausted from the electrostatic precipitator, and has excellent effects such as an extremely high efficiency of separating fine particles.
