Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for the grinding work of an irregular surface produced by welding by providing a corner cap for covering the outer surface of the corner part on the butt welded corner part of an outer door. SOLUTION: The outer door 2 is formed by rectangularly notching the four corners of a copper plate, bending the remaining upper, lower, left and right rectangular parts whose four corners are notched so as to turn a notched surface to a butting surface, forming a flat box shape, bending a tip inwards further and welding all the butting surfaces of the notches so as to turn an overlap part to the butting surface. To the corner part where the butting surface is welded, the corner cap 5 for hiding the irregular surface by welding is attached. Also, for the outer door 2, a part of a front surface is notched, a transparent plate is fitted and a display chamber 4 for displaying the dummy of sales articles is provided between the transparent plate and an inner door for closing the rear surface of the outer door 2.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a vending machine having a flat box-shaped outer door formed by welding a butt surface of a corner portion.

2. Description of the Related Art FIG. 3 is a diagram showing the structure of a conventional outer door. In FIG. 3, reference numeral 2 denotes an outer door which is openably and closably attached to a main body cabinet (not shown) via a hinge, and reference numeral 2a denotes a flat box-shaped outer door 2 which is welded and polished by abutting surfaces to form a smooth box. The finished corner portion 4 indicates an exhibition room for displaying a dummy of a product for sale. In FIG. 3, the outer door 2 is formed by cutting out four corners of a steel plate into a square shape, and bending the remaining rectangular portions, which are cut out at the four corners, so that the cutout surfaces become abutting surfaces, to form a flat box shape. Further, the front end is bent inward, and the notch is formed so that the overlapping portion becomes the abutting surface, and the entire abutting surface is welded. The corner portion 2a where the abutting surface is welded is polished and finished.

In the conventional structure, however, the outer door has a problem that it takes a lot of time and labor for the polishing work because the uneven surface generated by welding is polished to finish it into a smooth corner portion. . SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a vending machine which eliminates the work of polishing an uneven surface generated by welding.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, a steel plate is formed by bending a steel plate into a flat box shape, and further welding the butted surfaces of the steel plates at the corners. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a main part of an embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1, members denoted by the same reference numerals as those of the conventional example have approximately the same functions, and therefore description thereof will be omitted. Further, the leading end is bent inward to form an overlapped portion as a butt surface, and a notch is formed by welding the entire butt surface, and the corner portion 2a where the butt surface is welded is covered with an uneven surface by welding. Further, the outer door 2 is partially cut out of the front surface and a transparent plate is fitted therein, and a dummy for sale is displayed between the transparent plate and a middle door (not shown) closing the rear surface of the outer door 2. According to the present invention, the number of polishing steps is reduced, thereby shortening the manufacturing time and reducing the cost accordingly. In addition, since the outer door is accented by the corner cap, the appearance is improved particularly in a vending machine having a height lower than the line of sight.

A vending machine in which a steel plate is bent to form a flat box shape, and an outer door formed by welding the butted surfaces of the steel plates at the corners is openably and closably attached to a main body cabinet via a hinge. A vending machine characterized in that a corner cap for covering the outer surface of the corner portion is provided at a corner portion where the outer door is butt-welded. 2. A vending machine according to claim 1, wherein the corner cap has a member having an L-shaped cross section, and a flat plate provided integrally with front and rear ends of the L-shaped member so as to sandwich the front and rear surfaces of the outer door.
