Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the pulling-out resistance by coating a surface of a nail with the coating, which is obtained by mixing the coating with the adhesive hard grains, and forming projections of the hard grains distributed at random in a surface of a barrel of the nail. SOLUTION: A nail 1 has hard grains 2 of an epoxy resin or the like and a coating film of the acrylic coating 3 or the like in a surface of a head part 5 thereof and a barrel part 4 thereof, which has a sharp tip part 6. The hard grains 2 are strongly fixed to the barrel 4 of the nail by the coating 3, and formed as projections distributed at random over the whole of the barrel part 4. Since the hard grains 2 of the epoxy group resin, which are formed as the projections distributed at random in the barrel part 4 of the nail, is strongly fixed to the barrel part 4 by the acrylic coating 3, peeling of the hard grains 2 from the barrel part 4 is prevented, and the hard grains 2 are inserted with the barrel part 4 into a dividing hole of wood. With this structure, the projections distributed at random are hooked on the wood fiber, and the hooked part of all the projections generate the pulling-out resistance in relation to the tensile force in the axial direction of the nail 1, and the nail is strongly fixed. As the hard grains, grains having the minimum diameter at 0.1 mm or more is desirable.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a well-known fact, in order to make a driven nail inconspicuous in a nail used for a building or the like, a nail having a surface colored in the same color as a non-fastened member has an improved pull-out strength. For this reason, some nails have a threaded or ringed body. In addition, the actual application 1-119
As in 625, an arc-shaped projection may be formed on the nail body in the circumferential direction in a part of the circumference. In some cases, an adhesive may be applied to the nail body in order to further improve the pull-out strength.

These have the following disadvantages. (A) When a non-fastened part must be fastened with a nail with a small shaft diameter due to the nature of the fastened part, the diameter of the nail body is small. Screw processing or ring processing could not be performed. (B) After being driven into a nail whose body has been threaded or ringed, if the surface of the nail is colored with the same color as the non-fastening member to make the nail head inconspicuous, threading Alternatively, the paint may be buried in the groove of the ring processing, thereby weakening the processing effect. (C) In order to improve the pull-out strength of the nail, an adhesive may be applied to the body of the nail, but this has increased the number of production steps and increased costs.

[0006] The invention according to claim 3 is that after the nail is driven,
In order to make the nail head inconspicuous, a non-fastened member, for example, a mixture of hard particles of the same color as the wall material and a coating material having good adhesion to the hard particles is applied to the nail head and torso surface. [Function] A hard particle is mixed with a paint having good adhesion, and a nail painted on the surface of the nail body is driven into a non-fastening material such as wood. As a projection of the nail body, it is driven while being compressed without falling off between the nail body and the side face of the wood driving hole. Even after the nailing is completed, the hard particles remain compressed between the nail body and the side surface of the wood driving hole, and the effect of this improves the pull-out strength of the nail against non-fastened parts.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, the nail 1 has a hard particle 2 made of, for example, an epoxy resin and a coating film made of, for example, an acrylic paint 3 on a surface of a body 4 having a head 5 and a sharp end 6. doing. The hard particles 2 are firmly fixed to the nail body 4 by the paint 3 and are formed as discontinuous protrusions on the entire body 4. FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the nail body 4. The size, color, material, and mixing ratio of the hard particles 2 with the paint can be changed according to the material and shape of the non-fastened material, or the shape and thickness of the nail body 4. In addition, in order to obtain effective pulling resistance against wood, it is desirable that the hard particles 2 having a maximum diameter of 0.1 mm or more are mixed.

The present invention is structured as described above, and when it is driven into a non-fastened object, for example, wood, the hard particles 1 made of epoxy resin molded into the body 4 of the nail as discontinuous protrusions are formed. Since it is firmly fixed to the trunk portion 4 by the acrylic paint 2, it does not peel off from the trunk portion 4 and enters into the wood hole together with the trunk portion 4 in the wood. Nail 1
In the driving completed state, the driving hole of the wood shrinks due to the restoring elastic force, and the wood fiber wraps the entire periphery of the body 4. When a pulling force is applied to the nail in such a state, the discontinuous protrusions formed by the hard particles 2 are caught on the wood fiber, and the hooked portions of all the protrusions are caused by the tensile force in the axial direction of the nail. Withstand resistance, a strong fixed state is obtained.

Further, for example, when the nail body 4 is relatively thin, the hard particles 2 are made fine and sharp, so that even with a nail formed into a thin body, a strong pull-out resistance can be obtained.
For example, if the non-fastened wood is relatively soft, the material of the hard particles 2 can be changed to a relatively elastic material to obtain a strong withstand resistance.

Further, it is not necessary to increase the number of processing steps such as applying an adhesive to the nail body, and the projection can be formed only by painting the nail 1, so that the production can be performed at low cost.

[0013] Next, as one of conventional examples in which particles are used for a nail shaft, there is Japanese Utility Model Application No. 55-43192 shown in FIG. 5, in which the purpose is to prevent water and stick, and the mineral powder is made of rubber asphalt. It is a configuration scattered on the surface, which is different from the purpose and operation of the present invention. In the present invention, the hard particles must be previously mixed in the paint.

The hard particles 7 fixed to the surface of the nail head 5 are attached to the surface of the nail head 5 together with the hard particles 7 from the impact given to the nail head 5 when the nail is driven. It protects the applied paint film 8 and prevents the paint film 8 from peeling off the nail head 5. The hard particles 7 and the paint film 8
Is made the same color as the non-fastening member, for example, the wall material, there is an effect that the nail head 5 is inconspicuous with respect to the wall material even after the driving is completed.

As described above, according to the present invention, the shape and hardness of the hard particles are selected according to the thickness of the body of the nail and the material of the non-fastened material, mixed with the coloring paint and applied to the surface of the nail. By coloring, projections can be formed on the surface of the nail body at low cost, and the pull-out resistance can be greatly increased.
