Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the spectacle frame which makes it possible to hold and replace lenses only by the depression of a finger without using a tool for rims hemming the lens edges. SOLUTION: This frame is provided with a free space part 3 which does not touch a lens 4 at the part of a rim 1 hemming the lens edge 5. In this case, the straight rim 1 as a material is made circular so that its both the ends form the free space 3, both the ends of the rim 1 are soldered and fixed so that the free space part 3 is positioned inside a wrap around endpiece 7, and the lens 4 is so held that the rim 1 hemming the lens edge 5 has flexibility. At this time, the rim 1 has flexibility of expansion irrelevantly to which part of the rim 1 the free space part 3 is provided at. Further, whether the flexibility of expansion is large or small can freely be adjusted by the size and number of free space parts 3.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a method for holding a lens of a spectacle frame, a method using a lens set screw provided on a rim, a method made in France, using a groove around a lens edge and using expansion and contraction of a lens hanging thread , The rim is made of synthetic resin and uses expansion and contraction due to heat, the rim is made by drilling a hole in the lens and using the lens set screw, Some of them are made in the United States, others are made of spring material for the rim and hold the lens from both ends. Among the above-mentioned methods, it is the method that can hold the lens shaped in the spectacle store on the spectacle frame without using a tool.

Both of the above methods have the disadvantages (a) and (b). (A) Lens processing in an eyeglass store was difficult and time-consuming. The method described above involves further groove processing of the shaped lens, and it is difficult to adjust the hook portion. This method is a general processing method for forming a bend on a lens. However, since the material of the rim is hard made of a spring material, there are some difficulties in the processing surface. (B) There is a disadvantage that the lens comes off the spectacle frame even with a slight impact. In the method of (2), the groove of the lens is hooked on two hooks provided on the front surface of the spectacle frame. In the method described above, a spring material was used for a fragmentary rim, so that there was a surface on which a lens was hardly attached to a hard rim. The present invention has been made to eliminate these disadvantages.

By taking the above measures, the flexibility of the rim 1 surrounding the lens rim 5 can be used to hold and exchange the lens 4 only by pressing a finger without using a tool. By pressing the lens 4 processed in the groove 6 of the rim 1 of the spectacle frame with a finger, the lens 4 is pressed by the finger.
Pushes out the play space 3. As a result, the rim 1 surrounding the lens edge 5 has a gently expanding flexibility. When the lens 4 fits into the groove 2 of the rim 1, the play space 3 tries to return to the original fixed position, so that the lens 4 is held by the rim 1. Similarly, when the lens 4 is pushed out of the groove 2 of the rim 1 with a finger, the rim 1 surrounding the lens edge 5 also has a gently expanding flexibility. When the lens 4 comes off the groove 2 of the rim 1, the play space 3 returns to the original fixed position.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a first embodiment, and FIGS. 3, 4 and 5 show variations of the embodiment. In the respective drawings, the same parts of the configuration are denoted by the same reference numerals. FIG. 1 shows a first embodiment. First, both ends of the straight rim 1 as a material are arranged in a circular shape so as to form a play space portion 3. Braze both ends of the rim 1,
The eyeglass frame is fixed so that the play space portion 3 is located inside the armor 7, and the rim 1 surrounding the lens edge 5 has flexibility so as to hold the lens 4. The flexibility of the spread of the rim 1 occurs regardless of where the play space 3 is provided on the rim 1. Further, the degree of the flexibility of the spread can be freely adjusted by the size and the number of the play space portions 3. Therefore, the eyeglass frame of the present invention can be made of any material, and the design of the lens can be freely considered. FIG. 3 shows a second embodiment in which a play space 3 is provided in a rim 1 connected to an armor 7 and a rim 1 surrounding a lens edge 5.
This is a spectacle frame that has a stirrability and holds the lens 4. FIG. 4 shows a third embodiment, in which a play space 3 is provided at a portion where the rim 1 is connected to the handle 8 and at two other portions, and the rim 1 surrounding the lens edge 5 is made flexible. 4 is a single-eye spectacle frame with a handle for holding the eyeglass frame 4. FIG.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a play space portion 3 is provided at a portion where the rim 1 is connected to the handle 8, the rim 1 surrounding the lens edge 5 is made flexible, and a monocular eyeglass frame with a handle for holding the lens 4. is there. The method of using the spectacle frames of FIGS. 1, 3, 4 and 5 and the lens holding and replacement are all the same. That is,
The bead 6 of the lens 4 is pressed against the groove 2 of the rim 1 with a finger, and the flexibility of the rim 1 expands. The return lens 4 is held. When the lens 4 is pushed out with a finger, the play space 3 returns to the original fixed position.

According to the present invention, it is possible to hold the lens 4 by utilizing the flexibility of the rim 1 surrounding the lens edge 5 of the spectacle frame. No labor required with Gen 6 processing. The holding and replacement of the lens 4 can be performed simply by pushing the lens 4 in with a finger and extruding without using any tools. Since the rim 1 surrounds the lens edge 5 except for the play space 3, the lens 4 cannot be easily removed. According to the present invention, anyone can easily exchange the lens 4 at any time. By exchanging the lenses 4 having different powers and the types of the lenses 4, one spectacle frame becomes a versatile spectacle. In particular, the monocular spectacle frame with a handle is bulky and has a wide application range. It is also economical.
