Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the human body recognition system which can accurately and sequentially group the movement of more than one human body in a relatively small-scale building such as a care house. SOLUTION: At the ceiling part of the building, many position sensor units 20 are arranged at intervals. A portable unit 30 is put on a shoulder, etc., of a human body (person to be examined). A base station 10 sends an instruction signal for human body detection to the position sensor units 20. When a pyroelectric sensor 22 of a position sensor unit 20 detects the human body, position ID data are sent to the portable unit 30 with infrared rays. Then the portable unit 30 sends a composite signal generated by adding the position ID data to its ID data to the bas station 10 with a radio wave. A computer 11 of the base station 10 computes and records the path of the human body and displays it at a display part 11b.
