Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a blocking property by forming a pressure sensitive adhesive layer containing silicon high function powder having a specific average grain size, and setting a ratio of thickness between the pressure sensitive adhesive layer and the correction shielding layer in a specific range. SOLUTION: Although any adhesives such as rubber, acrylic resin, colophonium, and silicon can be used for forming a pressure sensitive adhesive layer in application on the base material, acrylic resin adhesive is preferable. Then, silicon high function powder is dispersed in an adhesive with the pressure sensitive adhesive dissolved or dispersed in a solvent. The silicon high function powder can be dispersed irrespective of either an organic solvent or water of these pressure sensitive adhesives. The silicon high function powder dispersed in the adhesive is to be 1-10 μm in its average grain size and, most suitably, to be 1-5 μm. Also, a ratio of thickness between the pressure sensitive adhesive layer and the correction shielding layer is made 1:1-1:4, thereby obtaining a fine adhesiveness to the adherend during the transferring period, and also improving transferring, shielding, and writing properties.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, pressure-sensitive transfer correction tapes have been widely used for correcting characters that are erroneously recorded on paper and cannot be easily erased. A pressure-sensitive transfer correction tape basically comprises a white correction concealing layer composed of a white pigment and a resin on a sheet-like substrate, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on the surface thereof for transferring to a correction adherend. It has a structure and is conventionally known as a collection tape. This pressure-sensitive transfer correction tape is wound on a reel and mounted on a transfer holder for use. Then press the pressure-sensitive transfer correction tape part of the transfer holder against the correction part, pull the holder while pressing strongly, and lift the holder at the correction end part, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the white correction concealment layer are cut, and the correction tape becomes the correction part It is transferred uniformly and the correction is completed. The correction tape can be written directly with a writing instrument such as a ballpoint pen.
However, in the case of the pressure-sensitive transfer correction tape mounted on the conventional transfer holder described above, at the time of transfer correction, the releasability from the base material of the pressure-sensitive transfer correction tape is poor, and uniform transfer cannot be performed. There have been problems such as that the corrected portion cannot be completely concealed, that the winding of the tape in the transfer holder becomes difficult, and that a running failure occurs.

In order to prevent this blocking phenomenon, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is made extremely thin, 0.8 to 1.6 μm, and the ratio of the thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to the thickness of the modified concealing layer is reduced. Is a pressure-sensitive correction tape having a ratio of 1:14 to 1:35 (JP-A-8-276695). However, since the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is a thin film, the adhesion at the time of transfer may be weak, and the blocking phenomenon has not yet been completely eliminated.

As a result of various investigations to solve the above-mentioned problems, the average particle size was 1 to 10 μm.
A pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing a silicone high-performance powder, and by setting the thickness ratio of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to the correction concealing layer to 1: 1 to 1: 4. The present invention has been accomplished by finding a pressure-sensitive transfer correction tape which improves the releasability from a substrate to improve the cutability of the adhesive layer during transfer and does not impair any concealment. That is, the gist of the present invention is that a sheet-shaped substrate has a modified concealing layer on one surface, and the surface comprises a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing a silicone high-performance powder having an average particle size of 1 to 10 μm, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The ratio of the thickness of the adhesive layer to the thickness of the modified hiding layer is from 1: 1 to 1: 4
It is a pressure-sensitive transfer correction tape characterized by the following.

In the present invention, a silicone high-performance powder is dispersed in an adhesive obtained by dissolving or dispersing the pressure-sensitive adhesive in a solvent. The silicone high-performance powder can be dispersed irrespective of whether the adhesive is an organic solvent or an aqueous solvent. The high-functional silicone powder to be dispersed in the adhesive has an average particle size of 1 to 10 μm, and most preferably 1 to 5 μm. If the thickness is 10 μm or more, the thickness of the adhesive layer becomes large, and the above-mentioned effect does not occur. On the other hand, if it is 1 μm or less, it is too fine to be well dispersed in the adhesive layer. Silicone high-performance powder is a finely powdered silicone having high hydrophobicity and excellent water repellency obtained by a special treatment such as grinding a highly three-dimensionally crosslinked silicone resin or silicone rubber, Insoluble in organic solvents and water, heat stable,
It exhibits weather resistance and has properties such as anti-blocking, and specifically, silicone resin powders R-930 and R-930 manufactured by Dow Corning Toray Silicone Co., Ltd.
935, silicone rubber powder E-605, and the like are preferable. Usually, about 1% to 10% is sufficient as the silicone high-performance powder to be added to the adhesive, but the amount is not limited. The modified concealing layer in the present invention is composed of a white pigment such as titanium dioxide, magnesium carbonate, silica or the like and a polymer resin as a binder, and is not different from those conventionally used for the modified tape. In the present invention, the ratio of the thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to the thickness of the modified hiding layer is 1: 1 to 1
By setting the ratio to 1: 4, the adhesiveness to the adherend at the time of transfer is good, and the transferability, the hiding property, and the writing property can be improved. When the thickness ratio of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and the correction concealing layer is less than the above range, the concealing property is inferior, and when the ratio is more than the above range, the thickness increases, a blocking phenomenon occurs, and the winding of the pressure-sensitive transfer correction tape is lengthened. Can not.

Examples and Comparative Examples Next, the present invention will be specifically described with reference to Examples and Comparative Examples. Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 to 5 A dispersion comprising titanium oxide, a resin and a solvent was applied to a polyester film substrate having a thickness of 40 μm to form a modified concealing layer. An adhesive in which silicone powder R-930 (manufactured by Dow Corning Toray Co., Ltd.) having the average particle size shown in No. 1 was dispersed was applied to form a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The thicknesses of the modified concealing layer and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer were as shown in Table 1. The blocking and concealing properties of the obtained pressure-sensitive correction tape were measured, and the results are shown in Table 1. The blocking properties and hiding properties in Table 1 were determined by the following methods. Blocking property: A pressure-sensitive transfer correction tape was attached to the holder, and a 10 m transfer test was performed on a high-quality paper with a constant load.
It was examined whether or not transfer failure due to blocking occurred. 〇: No transfer failure at all △: Transfer failure occurred at 1 to 10 places ×: Transfer failure occurred at 10 or more places Concealment: Determined whether the characters of the copy could be read visually when the characters of the copy were corrected . 〇… Not readable ×… Readable
