程も複雑でコスト高になり、メンテナンス時の作業性も
効率が悪い。このような問題を解決するため、プレフィ
ルタとメインフィルタを1個のユニットに一体に取り付
けた構成が提案されている。実公平7−30107号公
報はその一例で、メインフィルタを固定する枠状フレー
ムの周囲面に一対の保持板を突設して挿着溝を形成し、
これにプレフィルタを装着させて枠状フレームの開口を

ための特別な機構が不要であり、コスト面で有利にな
る。また、本発明は、プレフィルタの装着、交換を、上
下一対のプレフィルタ装着用溝に沿って左右方向から挿
入装着することにより行えるため、柔軟性を持たないプ
レフィルタの装着、交換も容易に行うことができる。従
って、プレフィルタ濾材をプレフィルタ枠体で保持して
いるプレフィルタを用いることができる。そして、この
ようなプレフィルタ枠体を有するプレフィルタを用いる
ことによってプレフィルタの変形を防止するための別途
の手段を講じる必要がなくなる。さらに本発明は、メイ
ンフィルタ及びプレフィルタの構成材料を可燃材料とす
ることにより焼却可能となり、廃棄作業が容易になる。

可能である。また、メインフィルタ濾材としては、ガラ
ス繊維の他、不織布など比色法効率が60〜95%を有
するものであれば良い。特に、可燃材料とする事によ
り、使用後に焼却するだけで廃棄する事が出来る。同様
に、プレフィルタ濾材も不織布の他にガラス繊維等でも
良く、重量法効率で30〜98%を有するものであれば
良い。これも同様に可燃材料とする事により、使用後に
焼却するだけで廃棄する事が出来る。
