FIG. 2 shows a conventional connector 1 ' used for connecting printed wiring boards to each other. As is clear from the figure, the insulating housing 2 '
Is composed of a terminal storage hole 2a 'and an insulating housing mounting portion 2b' for mounting on a printed wiring board. In the terminal holding hole 2a 'of the insulating housing 2',
The conductive terminal 3 'is inserted and held by press fitting.
The conductive terminal 3 'includes a contact portion 3a' for contacting a terminal of a mating connector (not shown), a terminal exposed portion 3b 'from the insulating housing, and a soldered portion 3c' for a printed wiring board. , A plurality of them are arranged on the left and right. The contact portion 3a 'of each conductive terminal 3' is in spring contact with the terminal of the mating connector and is electrically conductive. Terminal exposed part 3
b 'is partially exposed from the insulating housing 2', is bent in the direction of connection with the printed wiring board, and is aligned by the alignment plate 4 'so as to be equal to the through-hole pitch of the printed wiring board. Further, for the conductive terminals 3 ', terminal soldering portions 3c' are inserted into through holes of the printed wiring board,
Soldered and connected to the printed wiring board. In the conventional connector 1 ' constructed as described above, since there is a part of the terminal exposed portion 3b' from the housing, the impedance is inevitably increased, and when a high-speed electric signal flows, the signal between the printed wiring board and the connector is transmitted. There is a drawback that not only reflection occurs and reflection noise occurs, but also the influence between adjacent terminals is large and characteristics such as crosstalk deteriorate. In order to reduce the reflection noise due to the impedance mismatch, for example, a method of making the impedance of the connector close to the impedance of the printed wiring board by surrounding the signal terminal with the ground terminal and taking a pseudo coaxial structure is adopted. There is also. At the same time, since a shielding effect by the ground terminal can be expected, crosstalk can be suppressed. However, even in the connector having the pseudo coaxial structure as described above, if the ratio of signal to ground is 1: 1, a connector having twice as many poles as the number of signal terminals is required, and not only is the outer shape inevitably increased, but also the connector becomes larger. In addition, since the printed wiring board needs to be designed in consideration of the arrangement of the signal terminals and the ground terminals of the connector, there is a drawback that the design is restricted.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the high-speed transmission connector 1 of the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1A is a cross-sectional view of the high-speed transmission connector 1 of the present invention as viewed from the side, an AA ′ line arrow view, and an enlarged view of a B portion.
(B) is a perspective view of a comb-like cover 5 formed of a conductive resin 5 in the high-speed transmission connector 1 of the present invention, FIG.
1 is a sectional view of a usage example of a high-speed transmission connector 1 according to the present invention, as viewed from a side. As is apparent from the figure, the first aspect of the present invention is that a connector mounted on a printed wiring board 8 and a large number of conductive terminals 3 are bent to the rear of the insulating housing 2 so that the conductive terminals 3 are partially exposed. In the connector 1 for high-speed transmission, a comb-shaped cover 5 formed of a conductive resin is provided on a terminal exposed portion 3b of the insulating housing 2 of the conductive terminal 3 so as to be parallel to the conductive terminal 3. Here, the insulating housing 2 is integrally formed of a thermoplastic resin, has a role of holding the conductive terminal 3, and has a terminal holding hole 2a. The terminal holding holes 2a are arranged in a staggered manner in this embodiment. The conductive terminal 3 is punched out of a metal having a spring property, subjected to a surface treatment, bent, and inserted into the insulating housing 2. The comb-shaped cover 5 formed of a conductive resin has a shape as shown in FIG. 1 (b), and a fixing metal 9 is inserted into a mounting hole of the cover mounting portion 5a, and the insulating connector housing 2 and the print are formed. It is fixed to the wiring board 8. The comb-shaped cover 5 formed of a conductive resin surrounds the terminals in the row direction (vertical direction) of the terminals without contacting the terminal exposed portions 3b. By bringing the wall surface of the comb-shaped cover formed of a conductive resin closer to the conductive terminal 3 than between the adjacent terminals, the impedance is reduced and the influence from the adjacent conductive terminal is reduced. The second aspect of the present invention is a high-speed transmission connector 1 in which an insulating resin layer 7 is further formed on a comb-like cover 5 formed of a conductive resin of the first high-speed transmission connector. Due to the above structure, the conductive resin layer 6
Since the surface layer is formed of the insulating resin layer 7, there is no problem even if it comes into contact with the conductive terminal 3, and the assembling property is good. As is apparent from the figure, the conductive terminals 3 of the high-speed transmission connector 1 of the present invention are fixed by soldering the terminal soldering portions 3c to through holes of the printed wiring board 8, and are connected to the circuit of the printed wiring board. Is done. The comb-shaped cover 5 made of a conductive resin is fixed to the through hole of the printed wiring board by inserting the fixing metal 9 into the mounting hole of the cover mounting portion 5a, passing through the mounting hole of the housing mounting portion 2b of the connector. Is done.

The embodiment of the present invention has been described with reference to FIG. 1 as a representative example. However, the shape of the comb-shaped cover 5 formed of a conductive resin, the shape of a fixing bracket, the design of a printed wiring board, etc. It is not limited. As described above, it goes without saying that various modifications are included in the design within the scope of the present invention.

As is clear from the above description, the high-speed transmission connector 1 of the present invention has the following features. By covering the terminal exposed portion with a comb-shaped cover formed of a conductive resin, the impedance of the connector can be made close to the impedance of the printed wiring board, and the reflection noise can be suppressed. 2. Near-end crosstalk between adjacent terminals can be reduced. 3. External noise can be reduced. 4. There is no need to increase the number of ground terminals, and it is not necessary to significantly change the printed wiring board circuit. Therefore, its industrial value is great.
