によれば、水タンクに水を入れる際に水が溢れたとき、
溢れた水が水タンクの外壁面を伝って下方へ至るが、水
タンクの上部開口の周縁を、電源スイッチの上方に位置
する箇所以外から水が溢れる構成とすることにより、電
源スイッチの上方からは水が溢れることがなく、これに
よって、溢れた水が電源スイッチに入るのが抑制され
る。また、上記水タンクの外壁面において、上記電源ス
イッチの上方に位置する水タンクの上部開口周縁の箇所
から上記電源スイッチまでの範囲を外側へ膨出させる。

を有し、この開口4から水タンク2内に水が供給され
る。水タンク2内に供給された水は、逆流防止弁5を通
り、この弁を介して上記水タンク2に一端が連結された
パイプ6へ至る。このパイプ6の途中にはヒータ7が配
置されており、このヒータ7は上記パイプ6内を通る水
を加熱して熱湯とする。水が熱湯となることによりパイ
プ6内の圧力が高まり、熱湯はこの圧力によりパイプ6
の一端に逆流防止弁5があるためパイプ6の他端から出
る。このパイプ6から出た熱湯は、ペーパーフィルター
がセットされこの中にコーヒー粉を収容した下方の抽出
部8に供給され、抽出部8からコーヒー液が抽出され
る。上記抽出部8は容器9の上に載っており、抽出され
るコーヒー液はこの容器9内に溜まる。容器9は上記ヒ
ータ7の上に置かれており、容器9に溜まったコーヒー
液はヒータ7で保温される。上記水タンク2の外壁面下
方には、上記ヒータ7への電源の入・切を行う、安価な
開放型の電源スイッチ10が設けられている。更に、上
