Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the assembling of an automatic assembly machine and make a connector thin by bending one end downwards to form a connection part, forming an engaging notch in the bent part and a pulling-out prevention lodging part in the folding piece of the other end and integrally forming a pulling-out prevention part for locking the locking part at the back of the flat plate part of a housing. SOLUTION: A contact piece 11 bends downwards one end part of a thin and slender contact part 30 to from a connection part 38 and an engaging notch in the bent part. A pulling-out prevention locking part 33 is formed in the folding piece 32 which is folded towards the backside of the other end part of the contact part 30. A housing 12 has an inserting hole 23 and a successively moving hole 24 put through from the intermediate part of a flat plate part 22 to one end part, and a pulling-out prevention part 26 is integrally formed at the back of the flay plate part 22. The contact piece 11 and the housing 12 are assembled by low insertion pressure and, especially the pulling-out prevention the vertical direction is performed by the engagement of the engaging notch with the housing 12 and the engagement of the flay part 22 with a gap between the contact piece 30 and the folding piece 32.

For this reason, the conventional connector has the following problems. (1) A large force is required when assembling the contact piece 11 into the insertion groove 14 by press fitting. (2) To prevent the contact piece 11 from slipping upward, the insertion groove 1
Since the upper part of 4 has a structure protruding inward, the contact width A of the contact piece 11 becomes smaller than the original width of the contact piece 11, and a sufficient contact surface cannot be obtained, and the contact width A becomes narrow. . (3) The thickness B of the housing is increased to prevent the contact piece 11 from coming off to the upper part, and there is a limit to the reduction in thickness. (4) It is not only difficult to assemble, because it is troublesome to press the thin contact piece 11 into the housing 12,
There is a problem in assembly accuracy.
