Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bright, safe, battery-equipped lantern that is convenient to use in camping and recreation. SOLUTION: This lantern has a shield type battery 1 built in, a case 3 stably enclosing the battery 1, a light emitting part 2, and an inverter, a handle 4 which is gripped when carrying it, and a fluorescent tube 5 where a high-frequency voltage of 300V or so is supplied by the inverter. A power supply part 6 is provided with a switch and a charging terminal and has the inverter built in. The light emitting part is rotatable and convenient for use in fishing, etc. The constitution of an electric circuit comprising a charging coil and a charge on/off switch shows that it can be switched between illuminating and charging modes. A high-frequency voltage of 14V or so is full-wave rectified by a bridge rectifier to efficiently charge the battery. Also, a stabilizing IC and the like can be incorporated, and electric potential is supplied to the fluorescent tube 5 by resetting the charge on/off switch to the illuminating mode.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an outdoor lantern for use at a camp or the like at night. Lanterns are available in combustion and electric types. Combustion lanterns require large amounts of oxygen and produce heat and gas. This combustion gas kills about 10 people a year in camps due to lack of oxygen. There are many accidents such as explosions, fires and burns, which are dangerous. Therefore, it is an electric type, but a considerable amount of energy is required to realize brightness, and it is impossible with a dry battery. A battery is an essential energy source. Large batteries are heavy, expensive and difficult to carry. For night illumination, a small battery of about 7 Ah is sufficient. If you want to continue camping, just charge during the day. In that case, it is only necessary to have a lantern that can charge the battery from battery to battery. Ordinary batteries are charged from a commercial power supply of 100V. Also, it can be charged from a running car, but when the engine is stopped, the generator stops and the voltage drops, making it impossible to charge. The battery can be charged by boosting the voltage with an inverter built into the lantern. By installing a circuit that can switch between lighting and charging, 12
A 12 V battery can be charged from a V battery. According to data from a battery maker, charging can be performed by applying a voltage of 2.23 V to 2.33 V per cell. Therefore, about 6 cells
It is understood that a voltage of 4 V should be prepared.

2. Description of the Related Art There are many dangerous burning lanterns for lighting at camps. The price is low and the compactness is good, but the fuel is consumed for about 1,000 yen per night. Oxygen deficiency fatalities occur with combustion gases. Explosion or fire may occur. Burns occur countless times and do not fall within the scope of the accident. Due to lack of brightness, the two-mantle type having two light-emitting parts has increased. Burning doubles and accidents and fuel consumption increase proportionately. We do not want to convey the danger, so there are few letters related to these in manuals and magazines. There is a fact that magazines cannot be described as dangerous because they make money from those advertisements. Conventionally, battery charging was performed using a commercial power supply of 100V.
The campsite does not always have a 100V power supply. Therefore, a general-purpose inverter is prepared separately or a generator is used, but the noise of the engine is noisy and not comfortable. If the campsite has 100V, a 100V lighting device can be used with a cord. However, the lantern that can charge the battery from the battery of this patent is a comfortable one that can be used without a cord.

In the campsite, when the engine is started other than going in and out, loudness and complaints are made. Therefore, it is best to be able to charge without starting the engine, and there has been no lantern that can do it in the past.
A 12 V DC is oscillated to boost the voltage to about 300 V to turn on the fluorescent tube. Then, the voltage may be boosted from 12V to about 14V. Car battery capacity from 9 to 40 Ah
A high-capacity object of about 0 Ah is mounted. Therefore, several charges are sufficiently possible. If you are worried, you can start the engine. If it is a camp of about 3 nights and 4 days, it is fine. A battery, which is used as fuel, is used in small portions with stored energy, so the cost is negligible. It can be amortized in a camp for 2-3 years. There is a general-purpose inverter on the market, but this differs significantly from this patent. It converts 12V to 100V and utilizes a 100V appliance. This patent boosts the voltage to about 14V, which can charge 12V, and charges the built-in battery.
It has lighting and a built-in battery charging inverter. That is, it is a lantern that can be charged from battery to battery, and does not generate 100V.

[Operation] Although the mechanism has already been described, the description is omitted. However, the lantern requires a minimum brightness of about 100 W bulb, and if it is less than that, it cannot be said that it is comfortable. Dry batteries are not economical because they run out of power shortly. The operation will be described. When the switch is turned on, the inverter oscillates a high frequency of about 300 V from the built-in battery to illuminate the fluorescent tube. This efficiency is about three times that of a light bulb and is bright. It is assumed that the light is emitted with a current of 1 A. A 7Ah battery can provide 7 hours of continuous lighting. When cooking and meals are over, they get together. Then, the brightness may be about 50%. That is, the current may be 0.5 A because weak illumination can be achieved. That is, it turned out that a battery of 7 Ah is enough.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The battery is heavy and is located at the bottom. The inverter and the light emitting unit are located at the top. Conversely, the stability is poor and it is easy to fall. And it is difficult to illuminate the ceiling etc. This is something that comes from getting used to and it is anxious if the tent ceiling is dark. The switches are at the top when considering operability. Fig. 1 has a square design for the prototype, but if you design a curved surface, you can create a soft shape. Infinite design is possible. If you use it overnight, you will charge it, but if you use it overnight you can charge it while returning home. Of course, charging using 100V is also possible.

According to the present invention, the camp is bright and comfortable. Some people think that it is natural to be dark in nature, but those who are accustomed to the lightness of civilization think that it is natural to be bright. Except if there is only candle-like lighting. Brightness can be changed by inverter design. You can switch charging and lighting, and install a protection circuit. These features make a modern lantern. This is a thing that we thought necessary and charges 12V at 12V, which was made possible by inverter design. This makes it possible to achieve sufficient brightness without cords. Even if you bring it in the tent, it is safe,
It does not catch fire and does not burn when touched. Naturally, fishing and other lighting are comfortable.

FIG. 1 This is an easy-to-understand writing, (1) a battery built into the main body. If you use a shielded battery, you can turn it sideways. In (2), a fluorescent tube is used in the light emitting section. (3) is a case that stably stores and protects the battery, the light emitting unit, and the inverter of the power supply unit. (4)
Is gripped when carried by the handle. (5) is a fluorescent tube supplied with a high frequency of about 300 V by an inverter.
(6) is a power supply unit, which has a switch and a charging terminal, and incorporates an inverter. The figure on the right explains the thing that the light emitting unit is turned, which is convenient for fishing and the like. The figure at the bottom is a simple explanation that explains the configuration of the inverter, changeover switch, and charging terminal in an easy-to-understand manner. It can be understood that the configuration including the charging coil and the charging switch allows switching between illumination and charging. A high-frequency voltage of about 14 V is full-wave rectified by a bridge rectifier to efficiently charge a battery. Here, the charge stabilizing device will be omitted, but an IC or the like for stabilization can be incorporated. When the charge switch is returned to the illumination, a potential is supplied to the fluorescent tube.
