Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continually secure a communicating means by utilizing a mobile telephone set as a pager when remaining battery charge is reduced. SOLUTION: A battery monitor circuit 4 detects that the remaining battery charge of the mobile telephone set 1 becomes not more than a prescribed quantity and sends a signal remaining battery charge reduction informing 14. At the time of receiving this signal, a mobile telephone controller 7 records remaining battery charge reduction information to the subscriber information area 17 of the pertinent mobile telephone set in a subscriber information managing part 11. When a cell newly incomes to the mobile telephone set 1, a central processor 9 starts an automatic answering telephone service utilizing a speech storing device 12 and after storing, sends an information reception informing signal 13. The mobile telephone set 1 receives this signal 13, displays a message that information is stored on a liquid crystal display part 2 and allows a speaker 18 to ring for a fixed time.

However, the above-mentioned portable telephone device has the following problems. The first problem is that when the remaining battery power decreases, it is impossible to continue the call in the mobile phone mode, and a means for contacting a third party is lost. The reason for this is that the outgoing / incoming call function, which is a basic function of the mobile phone device, deteriorates due to insufficient battery power.

When the remaining battery level of the mobile phone is about 1/10, the phone normally has a remaining battery level of about 5 to 10 minutes.
Becomes According to the present invention, the remaining battery level is detected to be 1/10 or less, and the mobile phone control device manages information on the mobile phone in such a low battery state, and the mobile phone in the low battery state. When a call is made to
The message of the calling party is stored and the mobile phone is notified that the message has been accepted. As a result, the mobile telephone can check the presence or absence of the business only by maintaining the standby state, so that it is possible to maintain the state in which the information can be received for about 1 to 2 hours from the remaining battery level of 1/10. The reading of the stored messages conforms to the method of the answering machine service in a mobile phone, which is a known technique.

As an example, the low battery level information is recorded in the subscriber information area 17 and the telephone 15
It is assumed that a call is made to the mobile telephone 1 in the low battery state via the telephone 6. In this case, the mobile telephone control device 7 accepts the call from the telephone 15 through the line device 10,
The central processing unit 9 searches the subscriber information management unit 11 for the subscriber information area 17 of the mobile telephone 1 that is the destination. At this time, the central processing unit 9 does not connect to the mobile phone 1 and connects to the voice storage device 12 because the low battery level information is recorded in the subscriber information area 17 corresponding to the mobile phone 1. And activates an answering machine service using a known technique, and stores information in the voice storage device 12 by voice from the telephone 15. After storing the voice information, the central processing unit 9 transmits an information reception notification signal 13 to the mobile telephone 1 via the transmission / reception device 8. Since the transmitting / receiving device 8 having the above function and the voice storage device 12 having the answering machine service function are well known, detailed description thereof will be omitted.

Next, the operation of the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The battery monitoring circuit 4 periodically monitors the remaining amount of the battery 6 (A1). If the remaining battery level is recognized to be 1/10 or less, it is determined whether the low battery level information has already been registered in the mobile telephone controller 7. Judge (A2). For this reason, once the battery monitoring circuit 4 detects a low battery level, it stores it in a memory or the like. Therefore, if the detection of low battery is not held in the memory, the battery monitoring circuit 4 determines that the low battery information is not registered and activates the automatic transmission circuit 5 (A3). A battery-remaining-low notification signal 14, which is a means for notifying the mobile telephone control device 7 of the reduction, is transmitted (A4).
