Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive straight type fluorescent lamp fixture wherein socket supports are eliminated and lamp sockets are easily positioned and lamp wiring can be done with a good appearance. SOLUTION: A straight type fluorescent lamp fixture comprises a box-type fixture main body 10 whose bottom is open. The fixture main body 10 is equipped with a trough shaped reflection plate 20 for covering a part of a top plate 12 thereof zonally. A lighting device 30 is provided inside the reflection plate 20. The fixture main body 10 is equipped with lamp sockets 40 which are fixed on a pair of end plates 14 facing to each other. A straight type fluorescent lamp is arranged between the pair of lamp sockets 40, extending along an outer side of the reflection plate 20. Lamp wiring 42 which comes out of a wiring hole 22 formed at both ends of the reflection plate 20 and reaches each of lamp sockets 40 is provided. A cut-and-lifted piece 90 is provided on each of the end plates 14 which covers the lamp wiring 42 from its under side and also determines a height of the lamp sockets 40 when the lamp sockets 40 are fixed to the end plates 14.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a straight tube type fluorescent lamp having a lamp wiring extending from wiring holes formed at both ends of a reflector to a lamp socket.

2. Description of the Related Art A conventional straight tube type fluorescent lamp shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 will be described. This conventional device includes a box-shaped device body 10 having an open bottom surface. Top plate 1 in instrument body 10
2 is provided with a gutter-shaped reflector 20 which covers a part of the gutter 2 in a strip shape. The lighting device 30 includes a lighting device 30 disposed inside the reflection plate 20. A lamp socket 40 is fixed to a pair of opposed end plates 14 of the apparatus main body 10. A straight fluorescent lamp 50 is provided between the pair of lamp sockets 40 and extends along the outer surface of the reflector 20. Reference numeral 60 denotes a socket base for fixing the lamp socket 40 to the fixture body 10. Reference numeral 62 denotes a hole formed in the socket base 60 for wiring.

However, since the above-mentioned conventional device uses the socket base 60, the cost increases. This contributes to the fixing of the lamp socket 40 and the lamp wiring, but it is advantageous to omit this from the viewpoint of cost. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide an inexpensive straight tube type fluorescent lamp apparatus without a socket base. It is another object of the present invention to provide a straight tube fluorescent lamp device in which the positioning of the lamp socket is easy and the lamp wiring can be performed in a good manner.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION A straight tube fluorescent lamp apparatus according to the present invention includes a box-shaped apparatus body having an open bottom. A gutter-shaped reflector that covers a part of the top plate in the instrument body in a strip shape is provided. A lighting device is provided inside the reflector. A lamp socket is provided which is fixed to a pair of opposed end plates of the appliance body. A straight tube fluorescent lamp is provided between the pair of lamp sockets and extends along the outer surface of the reflector. Lamp lamps are provided which extend from wiring holes formed at both ends of the reflector and reach the lamp socket. Each end plate is provided with a cut-and-raised piece for covering the lamp wiring from below and positioning the height of the lamp socket when fixed to the end plate.
