【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 用紙搬送方向の下流側近傍に配した給紙
コロにより最上位の用紙を1枚だけを通過させ、2枚目
以降を停止させたままとする分離部材を備え、給紙する
用紙の収納部を画像形成装置本体に開閉自在に取り付け
る手差し給紙装置において、上記画像形成装置本体側に
設ける使用する紙のセット部と、該セット部にセットさ
れた紙厚を検知する紙厚検知手段と、該紙厚検知手段で
検知した紙厚に応じて上記用紙の進行方向及び上記分離
部材の角度を可変させる手段とを有することを特徴とす
る手差し給紙装置。
1.
