Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vacuum the splash flow of cold washing water from a lesion by providing a vacuum suction part on a dental mirror. SOLUTION: A mirror supporting pipe 11 is constituted in a pipe shape and the inside of the pipe is used for removing vacuum introduction waste water. A supporting pipe entrance 11a can be joined to a vacuum source and a supporting pipe exit 11b is connected to a flexible vacuum introduction part 14 in a semifixed shape. Also, a flat nozzle 15 is formed by a nozzle lower jaw part 13 and the back surface of a mirror 10a. The base part of the nozzle 15 is connected to the flexible vacuum introduction part 14 in the semifixed shape and twisting to front, back, left and right is made possible. A flexible inclined tongue shape projection part 12 is connected to the tip of the nozzle lower jaw part 13 and an inclination angle and a twisting angle are made adjustable. By sucking and recovering the splash flow of the cold washing water by the flat nozzle 15 on the back surface of the mirror 10a, an operation is continuously executed.

2. Description of the Related Art When treating crowns and roots in the oral cavity, a practitioner who is a dentist holds a handpiece on which a polishing knife (berth) or the like is set and holds a dental mirror in the other hand. While carrying out necessary medical treatment while illuminating the treatment site via the dental mirror, the grinding of the enamel layer of the crown with the polishing blade suppresses the generation of excessive heat at the grinding point. For cleaning the grinding part,
During the grinding, the treatment is performed while spraying a large amount of cooling cleaning water. On the other hand, since the above-mentioned treatment is performed in a state in which the patient is substantially turned upright, the patient is forced to have difficulty breathing when the body fluid and saliva from the affected part during the operation and the waste fluid such as the cooling water are filled in the oral cavity. As a result, a situation in which the waste liquid is swallowed is often seen. In order to prevent such a situation from occurring, the assisting surgeon intermittently sucks and discharges the waste liquid.

[0003] Moreover, since the removal of waste liquid through the vacuum pipe during the above-mentioned treatment is performed intermittently and due to the practitioner's treatment, the patient's swallowing of the waste liquid is performed more or less, so that the patient suffers from so-called pain. Will be forced. In the case of removing the waste liquid by the treatment assistant by making full use of the vacuum pipe, the treatment assistant performs during the short treatment stop time through the following procedure. That is, a. Check the pool of waste liquid in the oral cavity and insert the suction port of the vacuum pipe into the oral cavity. b. Check the undulation of the mucous membrane around the pool corresponding to the unevenness of the waste pool, and prevent the suction port from being blocked by directly sucking up the mucous membrane. c. Since the waste liquid is not always collected at one place, suction is performed at a plurality of places based on an appropriate judgment and feeling of the treatment assistant. The above operation has the following problems. That is, 1) Since the waste liquid is removed intermittently in the confirmation of the waste liquid collecting point in the item a, the waste liquid is not always formed in the vicinity of the affected part during the treatment, and the situation is not substantially understood by the practitioner. Although it can be confirmed, peeking from the side direction is not enough for the assistant, and the work is done with the feeling of the assistant in the end. Will not be relieved. 2) It is difficult to effectively remove only the waste liquid without blocking the suction port with the mucous membrane in correspondence with the undulation of the mucous membrane at the waste liquid pooling point in the item b. Depending on the shape of the suction port of the conventional vacuum pipe, It is difficult to insert the vacuum pipe and perform suction only once, and it is a situation where the suction port is changed in direction after the suction port is closed, resulting in incomplete suction.

[0004] If the operator cannot remove the waste fluid satisfactorily, the operator operates the operating table to take the patient in the supine position to the sitting position and perform the required gargling by the patient. After the end of the gargle, the patient is returned to the supine position again and the interrupted procedure is continued. But
In this case, the position of the affected part of the patient slightly changes, and the practitioner will continue the treatment again while following the image of the affected part before gargle, in order to respond to the subtle position change of the affected part, and the inefficiency of treatment And the cause of the decrease in treatment accuracy. In addition, if the above-mentioned waste liquid cannot be removed, the patient is forced to take the physiological action of “swallowing the waste liquid”, which poses a problem in hygiene and causes a great deal of pain to the patient who is in the open state with his back turned. It is.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems. Instead of removing waste liquid intermittently by a practitioner's assistant, the practitioner himself removes cooling water being sprayed. The scattered flow is continuously sucked, and the continuous removal of the cooling washing water that constitutes most of the waste liquid is performed near the injection point of the cooling washing water. That is, the cooling water is sprayed onto the affected tooth crown from a handpiece in which a grinding tool held in the right hand of the practitioner is set in a known manner, so that the scattered flow of the cooling water is continuously removed.

[0010] Since the dental mirror is provided with a vacuum suction part for sucking waste liquid, the suction part provided on the dental mirror which reflects illumination light on the affected crown, which injects cooling and washing water during treatment, is provided. Can be directly or indirectly removed by continuous suction. As a result, it is no longer necessary for the treatment assistant to confirm the waste liquid pooling point as in the past, and it is possible to eliminate inefficient and inaccurate treatment in the oral cavity due to the interruption of the conventional treatment, and also to `` swallow the waste liquid '' for the patient. It can be released from pain.

In use, as shown in FIG. 3, a practitioner holds a handpiece 30 capable of spraying cooling and cleaning water 32 equipped with a grinding knife 31 on the right hand, and a vacuum-equipped dental mirror 10 of the present invention on the left hand. The mirror is inserted close to the crown 50, which is the affected part in the oral cavity, and the irradiation light 20 from the lamp above the surgeon is reflected by the mirror 10a to irradiate the affected part 50 with the reflected light. Then, the grinding knife 31
Then, the grinding of the affected part 50 is started, and at the same time, the cooling water 32 is jetted to the grinding point to start the grinding and cooling cleaning. As described above, the scattered flow of the cooling washing water 32 bounced back from the affected part 50 is received by the inclined tongue-shaped protrusion 12 protruding from the back surface of the vacuum-equipped dental mirror 10 that reflects the illumination light 20, and the mirror 10 a The liquid is sucked and collected by a flat nozzle 15 formed on the back surface of. Further, the waste liquid 33 containing the cooling washing water and the body fluid collected at the base of the affected part 50 is also collected by pressing the inclined tongue projection 12 against the mucous membrane where the waste liquid 33 is stored. In addition, the suction of the waste liquid can be performed in an optimal state by appropriately setting the directions of the vacuum introduction portion and the inclined tongue-shaped protrusion made of a flexible member. In this way, the cooling washing water during injection and the waste liquid retained in the lower part of the affected part can also be easily and continuously removed, so that the practitioner can perform a predetermined treatment without interrupting the treatment for removing the waste liquid. Predetermined treatment can be continuously performed, and it is not necessary to change the patient's supine posture for gargle, and accurate treatment can be performed. Also,
The patient's distress can also be reduced.
