Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make spectacles usable in the same manner as general-purpose spectacles and to bring the temples of the spectacles closer to corresponding lenses to make the spectacles less bulky and convenient to carry when the spectacles are removed and folded by forming the temples to short-size constitution and pressing pad members to the temple by erecting the temples at the time of using the spectacles. SOLUTION: The length of the temples 2 is set at about the length at which the temples 2 cross the lens 1b on the side corresponding to the temple base parts in the folded state, i.e., at about the length obtd. by cutting away the bow side ends of the temples of the general- purpose spectacles. The pad members 3 are pressed to the temple at the time of wearing the spectacles. The elasticity of the temples 2 is adequately added to the elastic force generated by the adequate elastic deformation of the pad members themselves, by which the pressing force to hold the spectacles is obtd. The pad members made of elastic plastic are more preferable. The mounting structure of the pad members 3 is obtd. by providing the rear parts of the members 3 with mounting holes 5 and inserting temple ends 2a into these holes 5 in a pressurized contact state. Rugged friction surfaces 6 are formed on the surfaces of the temple ends 2a to make the members frictionally movable so as to enable the spectacle wearing person to move the pad members to the desired positions meeting the user himself in a fine adjustment manner.

[0012] Further, the contact member is preferably a molded product made of an elastic plastic material. In this way, when the contact member is a molded product made of an elastic plastic material, as the contact member, as in the invention according to claim 3, a suction cup having an attachment hole in a back portion molded of the elastic plastic material is used,
It is possible to adopt a configuration in which a soft pad made of a sponge material or the like that has a good touch and exhibits a non-slip action is mounted on the pressing surface of the suction cup. According to this structure, various requirements required for the contact member can be almost satisfied, and a pressing force without discomfort can be obtained even when wearing spectacles for a long time.

When the pad is removed and only the suction cup is used, the suction cup is pressed against the temple portion when the spectacles are worn, so that the suction action is also generated. . In addition, if the vine is folded and the suction cup is sucked to the corresponding lens surface, the vine is held in the folded position, the vine does not fluctuate and is stable, and the glasses can be carried naked. It becomes convenient.

When wearing general glasses, that is, when wearing glasses, hold the base of the vine with a fingertip, and move the ends of both vines from the front of the face to the temple of the spectacle wearer. The elastic contact member attached to the end of the vine is pressed against the temple to hold the glasses. Here, it is desired that the inside of the distal end portion of the contact member be minimized inwardly protruding. Therefore, as in the invention according to claim 4, a contact piece molded from an elastic plastic plate is used as the contact member, and the corresponding base is attached to the end of the vine, and the corresponding piece is inclined inward of the vine. If the free end of the patch is configured to be separated from the vine, both bases of the patch increase the lateral spread,
In wearing the spectacles, the base of the contact piece advances to the temple portion with almost no resistance, and thereafter, the free end of the contact piece is elastically pressed against the temple portion to hold the spectacles. Therefore, by adopting such a configuration, the user can easily detach the glasses by holding the base of the vine with one fingertip.

Further, as described above, it is possible to hold the spectacles by utilizing the elasticity of the patch itself, but as in the fifth aspect of the present invention, the pair of elastic pieces are elastically sandwiched between the patch and the vine. Preferably, a member is arranged and frictionally attached to the vine end. In this case, the elasticity of both the abutment piece and the elastic sandwiching member can act synergistically to press the temple portion, and the pushing force can be finely adjusted by moving the position of the elastic sandwiching member. It is convenient because it can be changed.

The temple where the contact member is pressed is considered to be one of the pots of the human body, and it is known that when the user is tired, if the user presses the fingertip for a while, he / she can get tired or feel relaxed. I have. Then, when a magnet is attached to the contact member as described in claim 6,
The magnet is pressed against the temples when wearing spectacles, and naturally exerts magnetic effects such as recovery from fatigue. Although there is no particular limitation on the form of the magnet used for the contact member, a central portion of the contact surface of the contact member is pressed so as not to cause a local pressing feeling when pressed against the temple portion when wearing spectacles. It is preferable to mount it in an embedded state.

On the other hand, near glasses, such as reading glasses, are frequently worn and removed. Therefore, it is required that this kind of glasses can be handled more easily. Therefore,
According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, a configuration is adopted in which a connecting portion for connecting both lenses is set on a line traversing the center of the lens, and a nose pad is formed at a vertically symmetrical position with respect to the connecting portion. In addition, when wearing glasses, the eyeglasses can be conveniently held because they can be groped and worn without worrying about the left-right and up-down relationship of the lens.

The present invention is embodied in the form as described above. According to the present invention, the vine of the eyeglasses is made short, and when wearing the eyeglasses, the vine is raised and the abutment member is pressed against the temple portion. When the spectacles are held and the spectacles can be used like general-purpose spectacles, and when the spectacles are removed and the vines are folded, the vines are brought as close as possible to the corresponding lens to reduce the bulk and make it more convenient to carry. Further, since the temple to which the contact member is pressed is one of the pots of the human body, when a magnet is attached to the contact member, wearing of the glasses also exerts a magnetic force effect such as recovery from fatigue due to wearing of glasses. Further, in the connection part connecting both lenses, the one having a nose pad at a vertically symmetric position can be hung as it is without worrying about the left-right and up-down relationship of the lens. It is convenient to apply to near glasses that are frequently removed.
