2. Description of the Related Art Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 8-277217 discloses a dividable tablet having constrictions in the vertical and horizontal directions. The dividable tablet described in the publication can be divided without forming a split groove by forming a constricted portion in a vertical direction and / or a horizontal direction, and a film is formed by reducing a contact area from its curved shape. The main purpose is to prevent adhesion in the coating process. Accordingly, the dividable tablet has a shape having two or more divided bodies in which the vertical swelling is considerably raised in its shape. Another difference is that the main purpose is to provide a dividable tablet that can prevent adhesion in the film coating process without using the tablet.

[0003] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. Hei 8-500599 describes a dividable tablet having an oblong outer shape and having swelling on both left and right sides of the upper and lower surfaces, each having a double-sided dividing line. The tablets described in the publication are not only different in shape, but also have an oval left and right bulge in an array-like shape, so that the tablet can be divided when left standing. In this respect, the purpose is different from that of the modified split tablet of the present invention described later.

Tablets are the most frequently used form of preparation because of the ease of adjusting the dosage. That is, when the dose of the tablet is increased, it can be easily adjusted by increasing the number of tablets, and when the dose is reduced, the tablet can usually be adjusted by dividing the tablet. However, it is not usually easy to divide a tablet accurately, and a tablet intended for division has, for example, a split groove (or a score line) provided in the center on one of the upper and lower surfaces. Something has been devised. However, even in the case of such a tablet, it is known that, in particular, in the case of a round tablet, the patient cannot be accurately divided at the time of division depending on conditions such as the patient to be administered and the direction of the fracture (for example, Fukuda et al., Hospital Pharmacy, Vol.1, No1, 33-35 (197
5)]. Therefore, in order to easily divide the tablet accurately, for example, a circular tablet described in Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 7-19339 having split grooves on both sides or the actual Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 2-1433.
The production of split tablets with a double-sided split groove and the like in which the elliptical shapes are adjacent to each other described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 3 (JP-A) No. 3 (1999) is attempted. However, it is difficult to say that these tablets are sufficiently satisfactory in view of the easiness of tablet splitting, the accuracy of splitting, and the problems of the strength of the split grooves against accidental impacts such as production, transportation, and dispensing. ,
It has been desired to develop a tablet for division that is easy to crack and that has sufficient strength against accidental impacts such as cracking, manufacturing, transportation, and dispensing.

The inventors of the present invention have conducted intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, in particular, the problem of a double-sided grooved circular tablet.
The deformed splittable tablet shown below is accurately and easily split, and is less likely to be damaged by impact during handling, and has good packaging compatibility with automatic tablet packaging machines used in hospital pharmacies and the like. The inventors have found that the present invention has been completed.

The term "slit groove" means a groove cut into the upper and lower surfaces of the tablet at a certain width toward the center of the tablet to a certain depth. The split groove is usually a line because the tablet is usually small. Since it looks like this, it may be called a dividing line, and in the present specification, the dividing groove and the dividing line are used as having the same meaning (for example, see 1p and 1q in FIG. 1B).

The shape of the peripheral edge on the long axis side is such that the tablet is less damaged when it hits a machine or the like during dispensing.
1A and 1b in FIG. 1 (A), a straight line in which the corners of both ends on the long axis side are rounded (for example, see FIG. 5), or a rounded end. A triangular shape (for example, see FIG. 7) is preferred, but an arc shape is preferable, and a shape in which the short axis width (for example, see D ′ in FIG. 1A) is the diameter of the arc is particularly preferable.

An arc forming a constriction (see, for example, a curve connecting the dotted line and the constricted portion 1d or 1e in FIG. 2).
For example, on an extension line on both sides of the center line, each dimension is about 1 to about a short axis width (D ′) (for example, see FIG. 2) from the center point of the center line (for example, 1x in FIG. 2). 3 times, preferably about 1.5 times (for example, 1y or 1z in FIG. 2)

The length (D '') between the maximum constrictions on the arc or V is usually set to be about 70 to about 90% of the short axis width, but is preferably set to about 75 to about 85%. It is preferable to set. The reason for this is that if the dimension exceeds 90%,
The effect of the constriction is poor and the splitting ability is reduced.
If it is less than 0%, the strength of the connecting portion between the upper and lower split grooves is reduced, and there is a possibility that cracks may be generated during the transportation, during dispensing, or even during storage, even if only an impact is applied.

The gently convex bulges provided on the upper and lower surfaces of the tablet of the present invention include, for example, an arc shape (see, for example, FIG. 4B) (however, except for a groove portion). Preferably, an inclined edge surface is formed, and the shape of an arc [for example, rising from the inner ends of the inclined edge surface (for example, see 1k and 1l in FIG. 1B) toward the center of the tablet [for example, FIG. 1 (B)] (however, excluding the split groove portion).

The inclined edge surface is usually an inclined continuous flat surface, but may be a continuous gentle curved surface. In addition, near the contact point between the peripheral side surface and the sloped edge surface or the bulge on the upper and lower surfaces, a partially horizontal plane, that is, a hook portion may be formed instead of the sloped surface or the bulge.

As the degree of the bulge, when there is no inclined edge surface (see, for example, FIG. 4B), the vertical dimension (t) between the upper end (or lower end) of the peripheral side surface and the top of the bulge.
[See, for example, FIG. 4B] is usually set to about 5 to about 25% of the maximum thickness (T) of the tablet (for example, see FIG. 4B), but to about 10 to about 18%. It is preferably set, and more preferably about 15%. The reason for this is that if the above dimensional ratio is less than 5%, the upper and lower surfaces are almost planar, so that the effect of providing swelling is poor, and the strength of the connecting portion between the upper and lower split grooves is reduced. %, The resolvability decreases.

When an inclined edge surface is provided (for example, see FIG. 1B), the inner end of the inclined edge surface [1 in FIG.
k, 1 l (1 l), 1 r or 1 s] and the top and bottom of the bulge (t ′) (for example, see FIG. 1B)
Is preferably set to about 20 to about 60% of the vertical dimension (t) between the end of the peripheral side surface and the top of the bulge (for example, see FIG. 1B), and to about 25 to about 40%. Is more preferred. The reason for this is that if the dimensional ratio is less than 20%, the upper and lower surfaces are almost planar, so that the effect of providing the swelling is poor, and the strength of the connecting portion between the upper and lower split grooves is reduced. %, The resolvability decreases.

When the tablets are packaged by an automatic tablet packager used in pharmacies and the like, direction regulation and the like can be easily performed by rotating the tablets in the horizontal direction, so that the compatibility with the packager is good. Furthermore, since the modified divided tablet of the present invention has a constricted shape, it is easy to hold when divided, and can be easily divided even by elderly people. Also, when taking as it is without dividing,
It can be easily taken without the impression of a large tablet.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION JP-A-8-277217 and JP-dividable tablets having a vertical and horizontal direction constricted portion is described. The dividable tablet described in the publication, by forming a constriction in the vertical and / or horizontal direction,
The main object of the present invention is to prevent the adhesion in the film coating process by dividing the curved shape without forming the groove and reducing the contact area due to the curved shape. Accordingly, the dividable tablet has a shape having two or more divided bodies in which the vertical swelling is considerably raised in its shape. Another difference is that the main purpose is to provide a dividable tablet that can prevent adhesion in the film coating process without using the tablet.
