2. Description of the Related Art As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, for example, a conventional air conditioner has a main body 1, a main body 1 and a base 2.
A front cover 3 detachably mounted on the base 2,
A front panel 4 is attached to the front of the front cover 3 so as to be openable and closable. An air inlet 5 for indoor air is formed in an upper part and a front part of the main body 1, and an air outlet 6 is formed in a lower front part. A removable air filter 8 is provided in an air passage 7 connecting the suction port 5 and the outlet 6, an indoor heat exchanger 9 divided into a plurality of pieces and bent back and forth, and heat is exchanged by the indoor heat exchanger 9. And a blower fan 10 for sending the blown air to the air outlet 6. A drain pan 11 'for receiving dew condensation water is provided below the indoor heat exchanger 9, and the blower fan is provided on one side of the drain pan 11'. A stabilizer 12 ′ is provided in the vicinity of 10, and a wind direction plate 13 for deflecting the flow of air is rotatably supported at the outlet 6. The indoor heat exchanger 9 has an upper heat exchanger 9a having a front surface inclined forward of the air passage 7, and a rear portion inclined rearward of the air passage 7 connected to an upper portion of the upper heat exchanger 9a. The heat exchanger 9b and the lower heat exchanger 9c vertically connected to the lower part of the upper heat exchanger 9a are combined in an almost inverted V-shape, and the upper path 9d and the lower path 9d which perform a heat exchange action are formed. Pass 9e 2
A refrigerant passage of a path is formed, and an on-off valve 14 is provided in the upper path 9d.
The on-off valve 14 is closed at the time of the 1/2 capacity control operation, and the refrigerant flows only through the lower path 9e. However, at the time of the 1/2 capacity control operation, the stabilizer 12 'is provided with the cool air passing through the lower heat exchanger 9c and the blower fan.
The temperature difference between the air passage 7 on the 10 side and the stabilizer 12 '
This causes a problem that dew condensation 12a is generated on the surface of the blower fan 10 side, and the dew water scatters outside the indoor unit.
