Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular fluorescent luminaire which can be stably put without worrying about damage of an auxiliary light source in the case of being put on the floor. SOLUTION: This luminaire comprises a luminaire body 1 to be hung by an electric cord 7 and housing lighting circuit member in the inside, circular fluorescent lamps 2 to be installed in the lower side (in the upper side in the illustration) of the luminaire body 1, a main shade 3 to distribute light of the circular fluorescent lamps 2 downward, an auxiliary light source 4 installed to the upper face side of the luminaire body 1, and an auxiliary shade 5 installed in the upper face side of the outer circumference of the luminaire body 1 to distribute light of the auxiliary light source 4 upward. In this case, the auxiliary shade 5 is so formed as to be gradually widened toward the end side and the upper end circumferential rim 51 of the auxiliary shade 5 is positioned as to be at a higher position than the apex of the auxiliary light source 4.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An annular fluorescent lamp apparatus according to the present invention includes an apparatus main body which is suspended via a power supply cord and contains lighting circuit components therein. An annular fluorescent lamp is provided on a lower surface side of the device main body. A main shade is provided on the outer peripheral lower surface side of the apparatus main body and distributes light of the annular fluorescent lamp downward. An auxiliary light source is provided on an upper surface side of the device main body. A secondary shade is disposed on the outer peripheral upper surface side of the instrument main body and distributes the light of the auxiliary light source upward. The secondary shade has a divergent shape that spreads upward. The periphery of the upper end of the sub yard is located higher than the top of the auxiliary light source, and the sub shade serves as a support that stably supports the entire apparatus when the apparatus is placed upside down on the floor.
