Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a temporary fixing for flap lids after being unsealed for one time, without using other fixing means by providing a recessed and protruding parts which are joined to each other on the butt corresponding edges of a pair of flap lids which are butted on the top end. SOLUTION: For a rectangular parallelopiped shaped corrugated fiberboard folding box 1 having flap lids 2, 3 which are built up with an extended folding box as the base, a dovetail groove shaped recessed and protruding parts 4, 5 which are joined to each other, are provided at three locations with equal intervals, on the butt corresponding edges 2a, 3b of the flap lids 2, 3. By doing so, after unsealing the folding box for one time, when the folding box is stored together with contents, or at the time of a simple carrying for a comparatively short distance such as in a company or in a facility, the corresponding recessed and protruding parts 4, 5 are tightly engaged by butting the flap lids 2, 3 in a manner to be depressed from the top, and the reaction force of folding lines is killed by the frictional pressure, and the flap lids 2, 3 can be temporarily fixed. When the folding box is opened again, while one of the lids is held by hand, the other lid is pulled up from the ends of the flap lids 2, 3, and by doing so, the recessed and protruding parts 4, 5 are removed as a chained reaction.
