Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the glaring condition by performing the baking and drying at a prescribed or higher temperature making use of a drying appliance such as a dryer when the applied water repellent agent is dried and discolored white, and performing the polishing while the water repellent agent is rubbed by an exclusive wiping material or a wiping cloth after checking the dryness. SOLUTION: The detergent exclusive for glass is applied to the surface of a window glass from which fouling is removed with a cloth, etc., containing water so as to be closely rubbed. In addition, wax, tar, pitch, oil film, etc., stuck to the glass are completely removed by rubbing the glass with polishing material. After the surface of the glass is purified with the detergent exclusive for glass to form a non-water repellent condition, the water repellent agent is uniformly applied to the surface of the window glass. When the applied water repellent agent is dried and discolored white, the agent is baked and dried at the temperature of >=120 deg.C making use of a drying appliance such as dryer, and after checking the dryness, the glass is polished while the water repellent agent is wiped with an exclusive wiping tool. The oil film is difficult to attach, and the problem of glaring during the traveling at night can be solved.

However, in the method of wiping a window glass with a cloth which has been used for a long time, dirt can be removed, but the oil film cannot be completely removed. In addition, after washing the window glass with a detergent to remove the oil film, a method of wiping with a dry cloth has been used,
The distortion and glare of the water film generated when driving by car in the rain could not be removed. In recent years, a treatment method for maintaining a water-repellent state for a predetermined period by applying a water-repellent treatment to a window glass has been provided, but has a drawback that an effective period is short (several months). An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks and to provide a water-repellent treatment method for a window glass having a high water-repellent effect and a long duration.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below. As a pre-treatment, perform the work of removing dirt adhering to the window glass with a wet cloth material, and at the same time, confirm the oil film, wax, tar, and the like that are not easily removed. Next, apply genuine glass cleaner A (special cleaner for removing wax, tar, pitch, oil film, etc.) to the surface of the window glass using a sponge material and apply it all over the window glass. After completely removing the wax, tar, oil film, etc. that were present, apply water to the entire surface of the window glass with a wet cloth material to confirm that the wax, tar, pitch, oil film, etc. were completely removed, and dried. Water is wiped off with a cloth material, and as a first step of the water repellent treatment, a genuine glass cleaner B is included in the cloth material, applied to the entire surface of the window glass, and wiped off with a paper towel. After the pretreatment as described above, a water-repellent agent (trade name, Super Rain Cut) is 4 cm to 5 cm wide and 6 cm long from the upper right or upper left corner of the window glass according to the following procedure.
Apply an area of about m to 7 cm (about 30 cm 2 ) using a brush. a. Since the water-repellent treatment agent is quick drying, in a manner that paint so as to spread the drop to about 2 of area 30cm, it rubbed quickly to every 30cm 2. b. When applying a water-repellent agent, be careful not to draw a circle by moving the brush linearly in the vertical and horizontal directions. c. The application of the water-repellent agent is repeated every 30 cm 2, so care is taken so that there is no uncoated area at the boundary. d. The portion where the wiper of the windowpane is inverted and the portion where the wipers of the right and left wipers overlap each other are carefully and repeatedly applied. After confirming that the water-repellent treatment has been completed,
Baking while drying the water repellent agent with a drying device such as a dryer. The temperature at the time of baking is optimally 120 ° C or higher. However, if a hard object such as a stone hits the glass and the glass is scratched, it may be broken if heat is applied directly to the glass. Avoid heat treatment. Polishing at the final stage of the water-repellent treatment is an important work to make the water-repellent agent react with the glass, so after confirming that the applied water-repellent agent is dry, polish it with a polishing tool. The parts that cannot be polished with a polishing tool are polished by hand using a dry cloth material. As in the painting operation, the polishing operation is performed by moving linearly in the vertical or horizontal direction so as not to draw a circle. As a final step, in order to confirm whether or not the water-repellent treatment has been performed perfectly, water drops are dropped on appropriate places (9 to 10 places) of the window glass using a dropper. If the water-repellent treatment is incomplete, the rise of the water droplets is poor. In such a case, the water-repellent treatment agent is applied again, and the printing and finishing operations are repeated until the rise of the water droplets is improved. Make sure that no fine water droplets remain when flowing down. Incidentally, the water repellent treatment agent continues to react for 24 hours after the treatment, and the
Since it stabilizes in 6 hours, it is necessary to take care not to wipe the window glass or use a wiper until it stabilizes. Also, after the water-repellent agent is stabilized, if dust or dirt adheres to the glass surface and the water-repellent effect seems to be weakened, washing with water each time will bring about the same effect as before. In order to maintain the water-repellent effect, it is necessary to wipe the window glass frequently. Even with water-repellent window glass, using a wiper with dust and dirt attached may damage the glass surface, reduce the water-repellent effect, and cause the wiper to chatter when using a deteriorated wiper blade as it is It is necessary to replace the blade as soon as possible.

The window glass treated according to the present invention has the following effects. I. During running in the rain, the water film strain disappears and the speed is 50k / h
Above m, the non-wiper effect is exhibited, visibility is improved, and the driver can enjoy the drive safely and with peace of mind. B. Since the oil film does not easily adhere, there is no problem with glare at night. C. Frost and snow do not stick during winter. D. Even if insects or the like adhere, it is easy to remove. E. Once applied, the water-repellent treatment lasts for a long time and does not need to be re-treated for at least 12 months.
