2. Description of the Related Art At present, a cartridge type adhesive tape applicator in which a transfer adhesive is applied to a thin film tape and stored in a container has been widely used in the market because of its simplicity. On the other hand, when compared with conventional various types of glues and adhesives, the length of the built-in tape is limited to some extent, and the price is relatively high because of the "disposable type". Therefore, development of a “method that can be used at a low price” as compared with conventional products is desired.

The following solution has been obtained with respect to a system for extending the use time of a cartridge type adhesive tape applicator as compared with a conventional product. That is, when the adhesive is applied in a certain width, there is no need to apply the adhesive in a continuous state.
Even at an intermittent coating rate of 50%, there is no practical problem. If this intermittent application method is applied to a cartridge-type adhesive tape applicator and the used portion of the adhesive tape can be reduced as much as possible, the use time can be substantially extended. Therefore, the configuration of a mechanism for controlling the contact ratio of the application portion at the tip to the adhesive surface is an issue.

Means for Solving the Problems In general, a cartridge-type adhesive tape applicator has a tip-applying portion of a type employing an application roller and a type employing an application tongue. is there. As a means for solving the problem, the application part of the application roller or the application tongue piece alternately generates “a state in which the adhesive tape is applied in contact with the adhesive surface” and “a state in which the tape is released from the adhesive surface and the tape is not applied”. Consider the mechanism. Specifically, (a) a cartridge type adhesive tape applicator is provided with a single unit or a pair of control rollers connected by a rotating shaft at a tip portion of the adhesive tape applicator where the tape is applied. This control roller has a radius in which the distance between the rotation axis and the periphery is partially different, that is, a major axis and a minor axis, and has a symmetrical shape when connected by the rotation axis. As an example, the shape may be a disk having portions with different radii, an elliptical shape, a disk having an eccentric rotation axis, or the like. (B) In an adhesive tape applicator equipped with an application roller, this control roller is installed in the vicinity of the application roller or so as to rotate independently but coaxially with the application roller.
On the other hand, in an adhesive tape applicator provided with an application tongue piece, it is installed in the vicinity. (C) The control roller rotates with the movement of the main body when the adhesive tape is applied. In addition, in the process of rotating any of the control rollers, in the long diameter portion where the distance between the rotating shaft and the grounding surface is long, a `` state where the application roller and the application tongue piece are released from the adhesive surface and the adhesive tape is not applied '' is formed, In the short diameter portion where the distance from the ground surface is short, a “state in which the adhesive tape is applied in contact with the adhesive surface” is formed. By the above-described means, the portion where the adhesive is applied and the portion where the adhesive is not applied are alternately formed, and the effect of using the adhesive tape by extending the use time substantially can be obtained.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS In a cartridge type adhesive tape applicator, an adhesive tape 2 with an adhesive is wound around a reel and stored in a cartridge, and is applied by an application roller 1 and an application tongue piece 4 as shown in FIGS. Crimp to the required location. The adhesive 3 is applied to the pressed portion, and the base of the tape from which the adhesive has been removed is taken up by a take-up reel built in the applicator. The outer periphery of the application roller 1 is made of an elastic body, and the application tongue 4 has a spring property with respect to the bonding surface, so that the pressure bonding is ensured. Generally, when an adhesive is applied, it is usual to apply the adhesive continuously to a required portion. On the other hand, in the process of examining a method of obtaining an adhesive effect substantially equivalent to the conventional one with a minimum amount of adhesive, there was no practical problem if the following method was adopted, and it was confirmed that the equivalent effect could be obtained. done. (1) The adhesive is applied intermittently alternately between the application part and the non-application part. (2) The applied portion and the non-applied portion are applied in a finely divided state. (3) An intermittent coating rate of 40 to 50%. FIG. 1 illustrates the relationship between the continuous application state of the adhesive and the intermittent application state to facilitate understanding of the principle of the present invention. The figure of the intermittent application shows an application state where the fineness of the applied part and the non-applied part is changed at the same application rate of 50%. This intermittent coating method is effective when the adhesive or the bonding method is expensive. The present invention is intended to apply this method to a cartridge type adhesive tape applicator so as to reduce the use portion of the adhesive tape as much as possible and to extend the use time substantially. Further, the control roller is described in the section of the means for solving the problem (A)
(B) The coating roller 1 having the characteristics (c)
The ratio in which the coating tongue piece 4 alternately produces a “state in which the adhesive tape is applied in contact with the adhesive surface” and “a state in which the adhesive tape is released from the adhesive surface and the tape is not applied”, that is, the application rate in intermittent application is approximately Is the ratio of "the entire outer circumference of the control roller" to "the length of the arc of the minor diameter portion of the control roller", and can be set to an appropriate value according to the use and purpose to be used.
FIGS. 4, 5, and 6 show specific shapes of the control roller. FIG. 4 is a front view and a side view of a disk-shaped control roller 5 having different radii to the periphery, and FIG. 6
FIG. 6 is a side view of a disk-shaped control roller 7 having an eccentric rotation axis. FIG. 7 shows, as an example, a connected state 8 of the disc-shaped control roller 5 having a different radius from the application roller 1. The main body is assembled in this state. FIG.
Is a case where the long diameter portion of the control roller 5 is in contact with the bonding surface, and the application roller 1 is in a state of floating above the bonding surface. Therefore, the adhesive tape 2 is separated from the adhesive surface in this arc portion, and the adhesive stops. During this time, the adhesive tape 2 does not move and remains stationary. FIG. 9 shows a case where the short diameter portion of the control roller 5 is in contact with the adhesive surface, and the application roller 1 presses the adhesive tape 2 on the adhesive surface. Therefore, the adhesive 9 is applied in this arc portion. At this time,
The coating roller 1 is compressed to the short diameter portion of the control roller 5 because of its elasticity, and both rotate integrally. FIG. 10 shows a state in which the application tongue 4 is lifted up from the bonding surface by the long diameter portion of the control roller 5 and the bonding is stopped. Also, during this time, the adhesive tape 2 does not move and remains stopped. FIG.
Indicates a state in which the application tongue piece 4 adheres to the short diameter portion of the control roller 5. The control roller 5 rotates according to the movement of the main body. During this time, the application tongue 4 presses the adhesive tape 2 against the adhesive surface by its own spring property. When the main body is actually operated, the states of FIGS. 8 and 9 and FIGS. 10 and 11 are alternately repeated. FIG. 12 shows the relationship between the control roller 5, the adhesive tape 2, and the adhesive surface 9 on which the intermittent application has been performed, in the above-mentioned application state and non-application state. When the control roller 5 makes one rotation, it comes into contact with the bonding surface in the order of the short diameter portion 10 → the long diameter portion 11 → the short diameter portion 12 → the long diameter portion 13. As a result, the short diameter portion 10 of the control roller 5 is provided with the adhesive (adhesion surface) 14 and the long diameter portion 11.
Is the non-adhesive surface 15, and the short diameter portion 12 is the adhesive (adhesive surface) 1.
6 and the major diameter portion 13 carries the non-adhesive surface 17. On the other hand, the length of the adhesive tape consumed by one rotation of the control roller corresponds to portions 18 and 19 in the adhesive tape 2.
The length (18 + 19) of the consumed adhesive tape is the intermittently applied length (adhesive surface 14 + non-adhesive surface 15 + adhesive surface 1).
6+ non-bonded surface 17). Therefore, when a predetermined length of bonding is performed using an adhesive tape applicator equipped with a control roller having a coating rate of 50%, the amount of the adhesive tape to be used is half that of the conventional amount. The object of the present invention can be realized by the above process.
FIG. 13 shows an example in which the control roller is provided in an application roller type adhesive tape applicator, and FIG. 14 shows an example in which the control roller is provided in an application tongue type adhesive tape applicator.
