Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaner hose having a high durability of such a structure that the overlapping parts of undulate thin bands are bonded or welded together and a joining part between an undulate thin band and a resin-covered electric wire is bonded or welded in a highs strength without generating poor workmanship in adhesion or welding at the time of winding fast. SOLUTION: Each undulate thin band 2 formed from a soft synthetic resin through an extruding process so that grooves and ridges 4, 5, 6, 7 are formed in/on the inner and outer surfaces, and is wound spirally while the its two side edges are overlapped, and a resin-covered electric wire 3 is laid in each groove 7 at the inner surface, and the overlapping parts 8 and 9 of the bands are bonded together and the joint part 13 between the band and electric wire is bonded. Thus a cleaner hose is formed. At the same time as extrusion of band 2, a resin binder layer 14 is formed on the surface of the band and the joint 13 of the overlapping parts 8 and 9 with the electric wire 3 by means of co-extrusion and bonded or welded.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a corrugated thin strip material extruded with a soft synthetic resin so as to have a concave and a convex portion on the inner and outer surfaces is spirally wound by polymerizing both side edges of the corrugated ribbon material to form a concave strip on the inner surface side. A cleaner hose having a resin-coated electric wire attached thereto and bonding the overlapped portions of the corrugated ribbon and the joint between the corrugated ribbon and the resin-coated electric wire has already been provided.

[0003] However, in order to bond the overlapped portions of the corrugated ribbon and the joint between the corrugated ribbon and the resin-coated electric wire, first, the corrugated ribbon is extruded, and then the resin is coated on a wrapping machine. Immediately before supplying with the electric wire, the adhesive was applied by rotating the roller partly immersed in the adhesive reservoir and making contact with the lower surface of the corrugated ribbon material. In such a case, poor adhesion or poor appearance due to the protrusion of the adhesive occurs. In addition, the management of the liquid amount in the adhesive reservoir is troublesome.

Although the adhesive is applied to the corrugated ribbon, the adhesive can be applied only to the lower surface of the corrugated ribbon. Therefore, the adhesive is applied only to the lower surface of the corrugated ribbon. When the corrugated ribbon is polymerized and bonded to the lower surface of the corrugated ribbon, only one surface is coated with an adhesive, especially when the corrugated ribbon has a single-layer structure. Is low.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a corrugated thin strip material extruded from a soft synthetic resin so as to have uneven strips on the inner and outer surfaces, while spirally winding the corrugated strip material on both sides thereof. A resin-coated electric wire is attached to the inside of the concave strip on the side, and the overlapped portions of the corrugated ribbon and the joint between the corrugated ribbon and the resin-coated wire are bonded to each other. Simultaneously with the extrusion molding, a cleaner binder is formed by forming a resin binder layer by co-extrusion on the surface of the corrugated ribbon and at the junction with the overlapping portion and the resin-coated electric wire, and bonding or welding the hose. Thus, the above-mentioned problem was solved.

In addition, a plurality of resin-coated electric wires are provided at regular intervals in the concave strip on the inner surface side of the corrugated ribbon, and at least four copper wires are provided in an insulated state from each other. Or two resin-coated electric wires in which two copper wires are integrally formed with a space between each other, and are provided at a double pitch with a space between each other in a concave strip on the inner surface side of the corrugated ribbon. By being attached, it is possible to cope with the multifunctionalization of a vacuum cleaner of a type in which various operations are performed by a hand operation unit connected to the end of the hose. In addition, since the convex portions and the concave portions on the outer surface are formed at the same pitch, the appearance can be improved.

As the material of the resin forming the resin binder layer 14, the same kind of material as the corrugated ribbon 2 or an appropriate material having good adhesion to the corrugated ribbon 2 is used. It is also preferable to form fine streaks on the overlapping portions 8 and 9 and the joining portion 13 of the corrugated ribbon 2 to roughen the surface, thereby physically increasing the adhesive strength with the resin binder layer 14.
Further, when the corrugated ribbon 2 and the resin-coated electric wire 3 are wound and formed, they are heated and welded, or the overlapping portions 8, 9 and the joining portion 13 are pressed from inside and outside, or both processes are performed. It is also preferable to use them in combination.

FIG. 9 shows a third embodiment. The resin-coated electric wire 3 used here is obtained by coating two copper wires 10, 10 with a resin in an oval cross section, and forming a concave strip on the inner surface side of the corrugated ribbon 2 on which the resin-coated electric wire 3 is provided. The width of the ridges 7 is set to be larger than the width of the other ridges 7, and the width of the outer ridges 4 corresponding to the ridges 7 on which the resin-coated electric wires 3 are arranged is accordingly increased. The width is set to be larger than the width of the portion 4, and the resin binder layers 14 are formed on the surfaces of the bottom portions of the wide ridges 7, 7, respectively. It was done. Other configurations are the same as those of the first embodiment, and thus the same or similar components are denoted by the same reference numerals and description thereof will be omitted.

According to the cleaner hose of the present invention as described above, a corrugated ribbon extruded from a soft synthetic resin so as to have uneven strips on the inner and outer surfaces is formed into a spiral shape by polymerizing both side edges thereof. In a cleaner hose, a resin-coated electric wire is additionally provided in the concave portion on the inner surface side while being wound around, and a superposed portion of the corrugated ribbon is bonded to a joint between the corrugated ribbon and the resin-coated wire. Simultaneously with the extrusion of the corrugated ribbon, a resin binder layer was formed by co-extrusion on the surface of the corrugated ribbon and at the junction with the polymerized portion and the resin-coated electric wire, and was adhered or welded. Highly durable, high-strength bonding or welding between the overlapped portions of the corrugated ribbons and the joint between the corrugated ribbons and the resin-coated electric wire without causing poor adhesion or welding during winding molding. Also To become.
