Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely ground a safety glass surface so as to prevent the charge, and to securely prevent the explosion of a cathode-ray tube, and to facilitate the removal of a metal band at the time of recycle by forming a supporting base of the conductive material, and partially coating the supporting base with the adhesive agent. SOLUTION: A conductive supporting base 1 is used, and it is partially coated with the adhesive agent 2. Consequently, the supporting base 1 can be made to contact with a surface of a sealing conductive tape 51 at a part, in which the supporting base 1 is not provided with the adhesive agent, by the shrinkage pressure of a metal band 3. The conductive tape 5 and the metal band 6 are made to electrically continued to each other by the contact of the supporting 1 with the conductive tape 51 and a contact of the metal band 6 with the supporting base 1, a conductive film 42, which is electrically continued to the conductive tape 5, is grounded by grounding of the metal band 6 so as to prevent the charge. Since the conductive tape 5 and the metal band 6 are electrically connected to each other, melting of an explosion preventing tape for cathode-ray tube is unnecessary, and the strong connection of the metal band 6 and a peripheral surface of a panel unit is avoided so that the metal band 6 can be easily removed at the time of recycling the cathode-ray tube.

2. Description of the Related Art CRTs, which are frequently used as picture tubes for televisions, require explosion-proof reinforcement because the inside is evacuated and the material is glass. Therefore, the adhesive tape is wound around the outer periphery of the cathode ray tube panel, the metal band is shrink-fitted with the tape wound layer as a seat, and the moment acting on the front surface of the cathode ray tube for vacuum is applied to the metal band. It is known that a reverse moment generated by shrink fitting is used to alleviate or reduce the reverse moment. It is also known that a safety glass coated with a reflective functional film is bonded to the front surface of a CRT panel portion via an adhesive to prevent reflection.

In a cathode ray tube, a conductive film is deposited on the surface of the safety glass in order to prevent charging (positive charging) on the surface of the safety glass due to an electrostatic induction phenomenon caused by anodic charging. It is known that the metal band is electrically connected to the shrink-fitting metal band, and the metal band is grounded. As shown in FIG. 5, an injection between the safety glass 4 'and the front surface of the panel portion 31' is known. A conductive adhesive tape is used as the tape 5 'for preventing leakage of the adhesive 41', and a synthetic resin-based tape is provided on the outer peripheral surface portion 51 'of the panel portion 31' of the conductive adhesive tape 5 '. Adhesive tape A 'is wound, and a metal band 6' is shrink-fitted onto the wound adhesive tape A 'to melt the adhesive tape A', thereby preventing the metal band 6 'from leaking and conducting. It has been proposed to make electrical contact with the tape portion 51 '(Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-8). No. 7970).

However, in the above-mentioned CRT explosion-proof structure, which also intends to provide grounding for antistatic, the adhesive tape is used.
Melt the metal band and the conductive adhesive tape to prevent leakage
The metal band and the outer peripheral surface of the panel part are firmly bonded by the melt-solidification of the adhesive tape, and it becomes difficult to detach the metal band when reusing the CRT. Forcibly detaching the metal band inevitably causes breakage of the CRT, which hinders reuse of the CRT.

In the cathode ray tube explosion-proof tape according to the present invention, the supporting base material 1 is made conductive and the adhesive 2 is partially applied. The substrate 1 can be brought into contact with the surface of the conductive tape 51 for sealing in the portion where the adhesive is not present, and by this contact and the contact between the metal band 6 and the conductive supporting substrate 1, the conductive tape for sealing is formed. Since the conductive tape 5 and the metal band 6 can be electrically connected to each other, the conductive film 42 on the frontmost surface of the cathode ray tube electrically connected to the conductive tape 5 for sealing is formed by the metal band 6.
Earthing can prevent grounding. Thus,
Unlike the conventional example, it is not necessary to melt the cathode-ray tube explosion-proof tape for conduction between the conductive tape for sealing and the metal band, and the gap between the metal band and the outer peripheral surface of the panel portion is eliminated. It is possible to avoid strong binding of the tape supporting base material by melt-solidification, and it is possible to easily detach the metal band for recycling the cathode ray tube without risk of breakage of the cathode ray tube.

Further, a material that does not melt at the shrink-fitting temperature of the metal band can be used as the supporting base material of the explosion-proof tape, and the metal band can be directly applied to the outer peripheral surface of the panel portion regardless of the shrink-fitting pressure of the metal band. Since the contact can be prevented, the fear of damage at the outer peripheral surface of the panel portion, particularly at the corner can be eliminated. Of course,
Moment acting on the front surface of the panel based on the pressure acting on the front surface of the panel portion due to the vacuum in the cathode ray tube can be sufficiently canceled by the moment by the shrink fitting pressure of the metal band.
The implosion of the cathode ray tube can be prevented well by relaxing the stress acting on the front of the panel.

In the above, the safety glass is omitted, and a conductive film is deposited on the outer peripheral surface of the panel portion from the front surface of the panel portion, and is made conductive from the front surface portion of the panel portion of the cathode ray tube to the outer peripheral surface of the panel portion. It is also possible to wind the explosion-proof tape according to the present invention around the membrane portion and shrink-fit a metal band on the wound layer.

A CRT explosion-proof tape according to the present invention is
As shown in FIG.
The adhesive layer 41 is injected and solidified between the safety glass 4 and the front surface of the panel portion 31 as a means for preventing leakage, and then the wound layer is wound around the outer peripheral surface of the panel portion 31. The metal band 6 can be shrink-fitted on the explosion-proof tape portion a. Also in this case, the conductive support substrate 1 of the explosion-proof tape A is electrically contacted with the conductive film 42 on the surface of the safety glass via the adhesive-free portion of the explosion-proof tape A. The conductive support substrate 1 of the explosion-proof tape A is electrically contacted to the metal band 6 via the adhesive-free portion of the explosion-proof tape, so that the conductive film 42 on the front surface of the safety glass is metallized. Earthing of the band 6 allows grounding and prevents charging.
Of course, regardless of the shrink fitting pressure of the metal band, direct contact of the metal band with the panel outer peripheral surface can be prevented,
The concern of damage to the outer peripheral surface of the panel can be eliminated, and the stress acting on the front of the panel due to the vacuum inside the CRT can be sufficiently reduced by the moment of shrink fitting of the metal band, and the implosion of the CRT can be improved. Can be prevented.

According to the CRT explosion-proof tape of the present invention, an adhesive tape is provided on at least the outer peripheral surface portion of the antistatic surface which is made conductive from the front surface of the panel portion to the outer peripheral surface of the panel portion. In a CRT explosion-proof structure in which a metal tape is wound and a metal band is shrink-fitted on the wound layer, the metal band and the conductive portion on the outer peripheral surface of the panel portion are electrically connected without melting the adhesive tape. Conduction can be achieved, and as a result, the static electricity on the antistatic surface can be prevented by grounding the metal band, so that it is possible to avoid a strong connection between the metal band and the CRT panel part, and to remove the metal band when recycling the CRT. It can be easily performed without breakage. Further, direct contact between the metal band and the outer peripheral surface of the panel portion during shrink fitting of the metal band can be avoided, and shrink fitting of the metal band can be performed safely without fear of damage to the cathode ray tube. Of course, the explosion protection of the cathode ray tube can be performed in the same manner as in the prior art.
Therefore, according to the present invention, both grounding for preventing static electricity on the front surface of the CRT and anti-explosion of the CRT can be performed reliably and safely, and the metal band can be easily detached when using the CRT. An explosion-proof tape for a cathode ray tube can be provided.
