して使用した場合、十分な定着性及びテカリ感のない高
質な画像と高い信頼性と及び長い耐久性を維持すること
ができた。このような構成で定着性に対してはシリコン
ゴムの硬度、ゴム厚み及び定着圧力に影響を受けシリコ
ンゴムの硬度が低く、ゴム厚みが厚く定着圧力高い、す
なわち両ローラーの接触面積(ニップ面積)が広い方が
良好な定着性が得られる。
