Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sheet for seeding and raising seedlings which obviates the dislodgment of seeds by external force, such as contact and does not adversely affect germination in spite of long-term preservation in the process of seeding and raising seedlings by mounting one seed grain on plural pieces of tacky adhesive dots. SOLUTION: This sheet for seeding and raising seedlings is formed by providing a supporting body, such as water-soluble paper 1 having water solubility or water dispersibility, with tacky adhesive layers consisting of the plural tacky adhesive dots 2 at prescribed intervals and holds the seeds 3 adhered on these tacky adhesive layers. The tacky adhesive layers carry one grain of seed 3 on plural pieces of the tacky adhesive dots 2. The dot diameter of the tacky adhesive dots 2 is preferably <=1mm diameter, the distance between the centers of the nearest dots 1 to 2mm and the number of the tacky adhesive dots per grain of the seeds 3 2 to 49.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a sheet for sowing and raising seedlings used for sowing and raising seedlings of vegetables, flowers and the like on a nursery bed, and in particular, fixing seeds at any intervals and at any number of grains without fear of falling off. The present invention relates to a sheet for sowing and raising seedlings that can contribute to labor saving of sowing without impairing germination of seeding and raising seedlings of various vegetables and flowers.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, sowing work is generally performed by hand sowing. As a device devised for the purpose of labor saving of sowing work to date, seeds are dropped at intervals on a water-soluble film tape, twisted with a tape, and a string-shaped one including the seed inside. Seed tape in which an adhesive is applied on a seed tape or a water-soluble non-woven fabric, and seeds are dropped on the seed tape and fixed thereon are commercially available. However, in the case of the seed tape, since the seeds move when twisting the tape, it is difficult to keep the seed interval at an appropriate distance, and in the case of the seed paper, the falling position of the seeds is mechanically and finely controlled. It is difficult to achieve a close pattern of seeds,
There was a problem that the water solubility of the water-soluble nonwoven fabric was insufficient.

At present, the above-mentioned problems, namely, the shortage of seed spacing accuracy and the shortage of water solubility are solved, and it is possible to easily mount seeds of a predetermined number of grains at predetermined intervals.
Sowing and seedling raising sheets have been developed in which adhesive dots are provided at predetermined intervals on a water-soluble or water-dispersible support, and seeds are adhered and held on the adhesive dots. However, when this sheet is used, since one adhesive dot holds one seed, there is a problem that it is difficult to reliably mount a large-sized and irregularly shaped seed.

As described above, when a conventional seed-mounted sheet is used, a predetermined grain is placed at a predetermined position on a wide range of vegetables, flowers and the like, regardless of the size and shape of the seed. It is difficult to mount a large number of seeds, and it is particularly difficult to mount large and irregularly shaped seeds.

An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, so that seeds do not fall off at an arbitrary interval and at an arbitrary number of grains due to external force such as contact, and in the sowing and seedling raising processes. Another object of the present invention is to provide a sowing and seedling raising sheet having excellent water solubility that does not adversely affect germination even after long-term storage.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is configured as described in the claims. That is, the present invention provides a sowing seedling that provides a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer composed of a plurality of pressure-sensitive adhesive dots at predetermined intervals on a water-soluble or water-dispersible support, and adheres and holds seeds on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. A seed sheet for raising seeds, wherein the adhesive layer has a structure in which one seed is mounted by a plurality of adhesive dots.

[0008] The adhesion of the seeds is performed by precisely applying a sticky adhesive capable of capturing the seeds to a predetermined position on a support such as water-soluble paper and then sprinkling the seeds on the support. It can be achieved at predetermined locations and at predetermined intervals. The pressure-sensitive adhesive applied to the water-soluble support can be applied in various forms such as linear and dotted, but among them, dotted coating is excellent in controlling the number of seeds loaded. ing. In the case of dot coating, a small-area adhesive must be applied in an arbitrary shape and at an interval. Therefore, screen printing is suitable in such a case.

For mounting the seeds, an adhesive dot suitable for the size of the seeds must be used. Therefore, when fixing small seeds one by one in one place, the adhesive dots must be correspondingly small, and when using large seeds, the adhesive dots also need to be reduced accordingly. Must be bigger. However, in any case, if only one adhesive dot is used to mount one seed, the contact area between the seed and the adhesive is extremely small, so that many seeds that fall off appear. In addition, depending on the shape of the seed, there is also one that is difficult to fix with only one adhesive dot.

Further, when a large seed is mounted, the dot diameter of the adhesive dot must be increased.
As a result, the contact area between the seed and the adhesive dot is not always large, and the mounting of the seed may not be reliable. Furthermore, when printing an adhesive dot having a large dot diameter on a water-dispersible substrate, there is a problem such as softening and deformation of the substrate due to penetration of the adhesive, and an adhesive dot having a dot diameter exceeding a certain limit is used. It could not be made. Also, even when dot printing is possible on a water dispersible substrate,
If the seed shape is irregular, one of the adhesive dots
In some cases, seeds could not be retained only by the dots.
