However, in the former eyeglass frame,
The lens receiver must be protruded to the front of the rim, resulting in a design that lacks simplicity and has the disadvantage of increasing costs due to an increase in the number of manufacturing steps. On the other hand, the latter eyeglass frame has a complicated structure In addition to this, when the frame is deformed by an external force, there is a drawback that the lens is chipped especially in the case of a glass lens.

In this lens holding state, the fixed convex portion 13 on the back surface of the rim 1 engages with the fixed concave portion 23 of the first protruding piece 25 of the slide piece 2, and the slide piece 2 is positioned in the lens fitted state in the concave portion 12. By being fixed, the lens holding state is maintained and the lens can be reliably held. In this embodiment, the lens removing operation is performed by using the elasticity of the slide piece 2 to increase the distance between the first protruding piece 25 and the second protruding piece 26 while engaging the fixed convex portion 13 and the fixed concave portion 23 with each other. What is necessary is just to remove the relationship and perform the reverse operation of the above-described lens fitting procedure.

As described above, according to the lens holding mechanism of the present embodiment, the fixing projection of the slide piece 2 is provided in the concave portion 12 of the rim 1.
The lens can be attached and detached with only a very simple operation of moving the 21 forward and backward, and a fine and troublesome operation such as fitting and removing small screws on a pair of rim lock pieces protruding from the eyeglass rim like conventional products Without having to do
Even an unskilled spectacle user can quickly and easily perform the attachment / detachment / exchange operation of the lens, and can easily exchange the lens at any time according to the purpose of use. Also,
Since no screws are used, there is no problem that the lens is loosened due to vibration or the like at the time of use and the lens suddenly falls off unlike the conventional product.

Further, the lens holding mechanism of the present embodiment is composed of only the rim 1 and the slide piece 2 and does not use any screw mechanism. Therefore, the configuration is very simple, and the rim lock mechanism is different from the conventional one. Since the parts do not protrude, the design is refreshing. In addition, since the slide piece 2 itself is detachable from the rim 1, for example, it is easy to prepare several slide pieces having different surface relief decorations of the second protruding piece 26 and replace them according to the situation. Can be greatly improved.

Further, in the lens holding mechanism of the present embodiment, the lens L can be securely held by the fixing projection 21 of the slide piece 2 and the locking projection 11 of the rim 1.
Unlike the related art, there is no need to form a rim groove or the like for holding a lens over the entire inner surface of the spectacle rim, which simplifies the manufacturing process and reduces the manufacturing cost.
