Description of the Related Art When a dent or hole is formed in a door, fender, bumper, or the like of an automobile, restoration and repair using putty is performed as long as it can be returned to its original state. In many cases, two-component curing type polyester resin is used for this putty. In the work, putty is filled into dents, holes, cracks, etc., and is heated and cured by an infrared irradiation device.
Polishing time often takes 30 to 40 minutes in winter.
In addition, since a clean finish requires skill and is a manual operation, the repair method has problems such as putting putty on the hands.

The transparent or translucent shaping sheet was covered, and the surface was cured by heating means to restore the concave portions and holes to the necessary smooth surface due to the presence of the putty. Putty as used herein is a substance used for this type of repair.
Or, it is a general term for those that can be cured. Specifically, 2
Liquid-curable polyester resins, two-liquid curable epoxy resins, and the like.

It comprises a flexible transparent or translucent shaping sheet and a heating device having a hot plate surface capable of heating putty on the opposite side of the shaping sheet directly from the shaping sheet. The shaping sheet referred to here has a property that it does not melt or decompose by heating the putty by a heating device, and furthermore, the state of the putty and the concave portion existing on the opposite surface can be seen, and the one that can be peeled off after curing with the putty is preferable. . Examples include papers such as thick-mouthed glassine paper and sulfuric acid paper, plastic films made of high melting point resins such as fluororesins, laminated sheets of paper and plastic films, and the like. The heating device is provided with a hot plate surface, the outside is provided with a hot plate and a grip portion suitable for manual work, and when the inside is provided with a heater, switches for temperature control and ON-OFF are provided.

In repairing when the dent 2 is partially formed in the steel plate 1 as shown in FIG. 1, first, the dent 2 is filled with a putty 3 as in the related art (FIG. 2). As the batter, a two-component curable polyester resin was used here. Next, while covering the shaping sheet 4 on the surface, the putty 3 is manually stretched so that the putty 3 spreads over almost the entire area of the recess 2 (FIG. 3). At this time, if there is any excess putty, it is removed, and as shown in FIGS. When the shaping work is completed and the putty has hardened, the shaping repair can be completed only by removing the shaping sheet 4 as shown in FIG. This example was a repair example of a dent in a flat part,
Hole 6 formed in the bent part of the member as seen in the upper part of FIG.
Although it is not necessary to fill in the shape of the bent part or to show it in the illustration, cracks, breaks, and other parts that need repairing may take a long time with the conventional putty method. Since it is hardened by heating, it can be shaped and repaired to a required shape.

The outside is provided with a hot plate and a grip 9 suitable for manual work, and a switch 10 for temperature control and ON-OFF. Although the heating plate surface 7 is flat in this example, it is also possible to form a convex surface at the center, provide a curved surface, or project a part of the heating plate. By applying a coating on the portion after the above-mentioned shaping and repairing, it is possible to completely prevent the presence of a concave portion, a hole, a crack or the like.
