Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely insert dental floss between desired teeth by attaching annular holding tools to both tips of the floss so as to easily grasp both tip of the floss and so as to position each tip of the floss near a finger. SOLUTION: The dental floss is obtained by attaching the annular holding tools 13 and 15 to both tips 11a and 11b of the floss 11 and uses nylon fiber, e.g. Then projecting parts 13a and 15a are provided at each tool 13 and 15 and each tip 11a and 11b of the floss 11 is attached to these projecting parts 13a and 15a. The floss 11 can be replaceable with respect to the tools 13 and 15. At the time of using the dental floss, the floss 11 is inserted between the desired teeth or abutted to the surface of a tooth in the state of inserting a finger of each right and left hands into the through-holes 17 and 19 of the tools 13 and 15, and the tools 13 and 15 are moved back and forth to move the floss back and forth to remove the waste of food, plaque, etc., attached between teeth or to the surface of a tooth.

2. Description of the Related Art A thread consisting of a thread 1 such as nylon fiber as shown in FIG. 5 (hereinafter referred to as "conventional thread)" has already been used. Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the tip of the handle 3 is branched into two forks to form a forked portion 5, and a thread 7 made of nylon fiber or the like is stretched over the forked portion 5 (hereinafter referred to as "conventional"). Is also already known.

In the conventional thread toothpick, both ends of the thread 1 are used by holding the fingers of the left and right hands, or both ends of the thread 1 are wound around the fingers of the left and right hands. However, since the conventional thread toothpick is simply made of only thread 1, it is difficult to hold with a finger,
Further, there is also a problem that the finger is hurt when the thread 1 is wound around the finger and a thread toothpick is used. The conventional thread tooth is used by grasping the handle 3 by hand, but has a problem that it is difficult to polish especially the back teeth or the back teeth, because the forked part 5 is held on the inner surface of the cheek. Further, the forked portion 5 often comes into contact with the teeth, but it is extremely uncomfortable when the forked portion 5 contacts the teeth. Furthermore, since the thread 7 is separated from the handle portion 3 to be gripped by hand, there is a disadvantage that the thread 7 does not easily enter a desired space between teeth. The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-mentioned problems in the conventional yarn picking.

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The yarn toothpick of the present invention is obtained by attaching annular holders 13 and 15 to both ends 11 a and 11 b of the yarn 11. The yarn 11 is, for example, a yarn made of nylon fiber. As an example, the annular holders 13 and 15 are provided with protrusions 13a and 15a, and the protrusions 13a and 15a are provided.
Each end 11a, 11b of the thread 11 is attached to the.
Reference numerals 17 and 19 are through holes of the annular holders 13 and 15.
In addition, each end 11a, 1 of the thread 11 is attached to the protrusions 13a, 15a.
1b may be fixed and the toothpick may be disposable. In FIG. 2 showing an example of the use state of the thread toothpick of the present invention, the reference numeral 20 denotes a tooth.

A knot 27 is provided at one end 11a of the thread 11, and a stopper 29 is provided at one end of the stopper pin 25 corresponding to the large-diameter side of the tapered tubular plug 23.
Is provided with a stopper 30 at the other end. In this case, the thread 11 having the knot 27 provided at one end 11a is inserted into the central hole 23a of the tapered cylindrical plug 23 such that the knot 27 is on the large diameter side of the central hole 23a. 23 is a projection 13a of the annular holder 13 (15).
(15a) is inserted into the through hole 21. In this case, the small-diameter side of the tapered tubular plug 23 is oriented in the direction of the other annular holder (rightward in FIGS. 3 and 4). In this case, when the thread 11 and the stopper pin 25 are pulled in the direction of the other annular holder, the stopper 29 of the stopper pin 25 is pressed against the central hole 23a of the tapered cylindrical plug 23, and the thread 11 is tapered with the stopper 29. It is fixed between the central hole 23a of the cylindrical stopper 23. The knot 27 of the thread 11 is locked to the stopper 29 and the tapered tubular plug 23. Therefore, even when the thread toothpick is used, there is no possibility that the thread 11 comes off in the direction of the other annular holder. When replacing the thread 11, the stopper 29 of the stopper pin 25 is

Reference numeral 31 in FIG. 4 denotes a finger of a hand.

As described above, since the thread toothpick according to the present invention has the annular holding members attached to both ends of the yarn, it is easy to insert a finger of the hand into the through hole of the annular holding member. It can be used without any pain in the hands. In addition, since each end of the thread is located at a position close to the finger, the thread can be easily and reliably inserted between desired teeth as in the case where the thread is directly held by the finger. Furthermore, since there is no member that can be used on the inner surface of the cheek, the back teeth or the space between the back teeth can be conveniently brushed. In addition, members other than the thread do not contact the teeth. It should be noted that since the yarn toothpick according to the present invention is formed by attaching annular holders to both ends of the yarn, the yarn does not become entangled even when the user's alignment is poor.
