Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To light up the tip of an input chip by using a substance which is transparent and has photoconductivity for the input chip provided at the tip of the input pen, and transmitting the light from a light source through the input chip and emitting it from the input chip tip. SOLUTION: The input chip 2 which has a front part 2A almost in a comic shape and a tip 2B formed into a curved surface is engaged threadably with the front part of a shaft cylinder 1 made of an insulating material such as synthetic resin. The input chip 2 is formed of the substance which is transparent and photoconductive. An internal shaft 3 made of an electric conductor is inserted into the front part of the shaft cylinder 1 and a fairy lamp as the light source is fitted to the internal shaft 3. The light of this fairy lamp 4 is transmitted to the input chip 2 and emitted from the tip 2B of the input chip 2. Consequently, the tip of the input chip 2 can be lit up, so the position of the input chip 2 can easily be confirmed on a tablet even in a dark place.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, an input chip 2 having a substantially conical front portion 2A and a curved end 2B is screwed into a front portion of a shaft cylinder 1 made of an insulating material such as a synthetic resin. The input chip 2 is made of a transparent and photoconductive material. An inner shaft 3 made of an electric conductor is inserted into the front inside of the barrel 1, and a miniature bulb 4 as a light source is attached to the inner shaft 3. Also, the conductive piece 3 extending in the longitudinal direction of the inner shaft 3
A is a concave groove 1A that extends rearward in the longitudinal direction from the front end of the barrel 1
The contact 3B is formed at the rear end of the conductive piece 3A. A switch 5 made of an electric conductor is rotatably provided at a rear portion of the barrel 1, and a contact 5 </ b> A of the switch 5 is configured to be able to contact and separate from a contact 3 </ b> B of the inner shaft 3. A coil spring 6 made of an electric conductor is provided at the front end of the switch 5, and the coil spring 6 contacts a cathode 7 </ b> A of a dry battery 7 built in the barrel 1 to urge the dry battery 7 forward. The anode 7B is brought into contact with the rear end of the miniature lamp 4. When the miniature bulb 4 of the input pen with lighting function is turned on, the switch 5 is turned to the right by a half turn to bring the contact 5A of the switch 5 into contact with the contact 3B of the inner shaft 3 to obtain the state shown in FIG. . Then, the light of the miniature bulb 4 propagates through the input chip 2 and is generated from the tip 2B of the input chip 2. When the miniature bulb 4 is turned off, the switch 5 is turned half a turn to the left to separate the contact 5A of the switch 5 from the contact 3B of the inner shaft 3. When replacing the dry battery 7, the input chip 2 is removed from the barrel 1, and the dry battery 7 is taken out together with the inner shaft 3. Thereafter, a new dry cell 7 is inserted together with the inner shaft 3 and the shaft cylinder 1 is inserted.
The input chip 2 is screwed.
