Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device to which an optical filter is mounted without warping, even if a PDP is heated. SOLUTION: A plasma display device is constituted by fitting a PDP 1 for displaying a television video or the like to a case 2, through the use of a boss or the like stood upright to a rear side of the PDP. An optical filter 3 is mounted to improve display image quality or the like to a front side of the PDP 1. A glass plate is used as a material for the optical filter 3.
