Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate effects of noises due to electromagnetic wave generating in an uninterruptible power unit by providing an opening/closing metallic partition between the uninterruptible power unit and enclosure and shielding the electromagnetic waves generating in the uninterruptible power unit therewith. SOLUTION: Metallic partitions 9 and 12 for shielding electromagnetic waves are installed between an enclosure, such as a computer enclosure or a disk enclosure, etc., which is arranged on a free-access floor 6 within a computer room and an uninterruptible power unit, arranged on a free-access floor 14. Thus, since the partitions 9 and 12 are installed between the uninterruptible power unit and enclosure, such as a computer enclosure, a disk enclosure, etc., electromagnetic waves generated in the uninterruptible power unit can be shielded therewith, thereby eliminating noises due to electromagnetic waves generated from the uninterruptible power unit.
