Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strong folding returnable case that can be used repetitiously by virtue of its foldability. SOLUTION: Side plates 13 and 12 on the right and left are bent inward, and a front plate 14 is overlapped on a back plate 15 with the side plates 13 and 12 on the right and the left and the bottom flaps 172, 173, 174 and 175 placed in between, and top plates 16 connecting to the upper and the lower parts of the back plate 15 are bent and overlapped on the front plate 14. Thereby, the case can be folded up approximately in a thickness of four to five sheets of plate and in a size equivalent to the front plate 14 and the back plate 15. Therefore, the volume of the case when fabricated in a cubical shape can be reduced by folding up into an extremely compact flat-plate shape, and convenience of portability can be achieved to its utmost. As it can be used repetitiously, the case can be accommodative to use as a returnable container for regular transportation of goods.

2. Description of the Related Art With the spread of courier services, a mail-order system for individuals to purchase goods directly from manufacturers or production areas is being developed. Not only such an online shopping system, but also a container used for packaging an article is required to be lightweight and durable, and a corrugated box is generally used. The cardboard box 1 shown in FIG. 7 is a typical cardboard box that is discarded once it is used in the distribution process. This cardboard box includes a front plate 2, a rear plate 3, left and right side plates 4, which define a packaging space.
Foldable flaps 6 are provided at both ends of the flap 5, and the flaps 6 are folded to close the upper opening and the lower opening of the packaging space.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Conventional cardboard box 1
When the front plate 2 and the back plate 3 and the side plates 4 and 5 that define the packaging space are folded, they are transformed into a diamond shape as shown in FIG. 2 and the side plate 4 (or the back plate 3 and the side plate 5) are only small in area, which is very difficult to carry. Further, after the flaps 6 are folded to cover the top opening or the bottom opening, the flaps 6 need to be fixed to each other, and the overlapping portions of the flaps must be bound with staples (binding needles) or the like. For this reason, a stapler (binding machine) is indispensable, and a cardboard box used once 1
However, there are problems that the bound portion is easily broken when the staple is removed and folded, and many of them cannot withstand repeated use.

It is possible to store a set of folded boxes in a box in a box-raised state, and use the box in a box-raised state to return or store a plurality of boxes for the next use.
However, in most conventional returnable boxes, when the folded box is stored in the folded box, the folded box often plays in the folded box, causing a slight impact. There was a problem that the box to be stored (folded box) would easily pop out and fall apart even if it was added.

Further, the front plate 14 and the rear plate 16 are slightly curved in the folded state, and the width dimension Ws (shown in FIG. 5) in the box-raised state and the outer dimension in the folded state due to the shortening of the width dimension accompanying the bending. The width dimension Wf (shown in FIG. 3) substantially coincides with each other, so that the folding box 11 can be accommodated in the folding box 11 without difficulty as described later. Also, the outer width Ws in the box-raised state
Difference dW between + dW and outer width Ws in folded state
Is borne by the curvature of the front plate 14 and the back plate 16, but in reality, the front plate 14, the back plate 16 and the side plates 12, 1
The shortening by several mm due to the rounding of each joint part of 3 also partially contributes. However, since the curvature of the front plate 14 and the back plate 16 differs depending on the V-shapedness of the side plates 12 and 13 that are folded in two, the folding box 11 can be accommodated in the folding box 11 without any difficulty. It can be said that there is almost no problem even if the main factor of this is the curvature of the front plate 14 and the back plate 16.

By the way, when the folded returnable box 11 is used by raising it, the upper surface plate 16 folded on the front plate 14 is first opened as shown in FIG. State. Next, as shown in FIG. 4, the upper surface plate 16 is pulled up to erect the side surface plates 12 and 13.
At this time, the four bottom surface flaps 172 to 175 are combined in a swastika shape to close the bottom surface. Next, the bottom surface reinforcing plate 18 which has been stacked on the back plate 15 until then is stacked on the bottom surface flaps 172 to 175, and the box is raised in the state shown in FIG. Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the three sheets 12a, 13a, 14a excluding the back plate side are folded inward along the folding line L to form an edge for receiving the peripheral edge of the top plate 16. In this case, the ends of the folding flaps 13a and 14a are folded in a fold shape along the 45-degree folding line Li. Finally, the top plate 16 is folded back, the tongue portion 16c is inserted into the tongue portion insertion hole 14c as shown in FIG. 1, and the bottom face flap 17 is locked to the front plate 14 so as not to come off, and the packing is completed.

As described above, according to the foldable storage box 11, the left and right side plates 12, 13 are folded inward, and the front plate 14 is inserted into the rear plate 15 via the left and right side plates 12, 13.
And the upper surface plate 16 and the bottom surface flap 17 which are connected to the upper and lower sides of the rear plate 15 are folded and overlapped on the front plate 14, so that the thicknesses of 4 to 5 thick plates are vertically overlapped. The front plate 14 and the rear plate 1 are suppressed and have a flat area.
It can fit in the same size as 5. Therefore, the volume when assembled in a three-dimensional shape can be folded into a flat plate shape in the most compact form. Further, since the foldable returnable container 11 can be repeatedly used, it is possible to provide a returnable container suitable for periodical product transportation.

Further, since the foldable returnable box 11 is provided with the bottom reinforcing plate 18 inside the bottom flap 17 in order to reinforce the strength of the bottom flap 17, in the conventional case, it is reinforced by the flap and the adhesive tape or the staple. The desired bottom flap 17 can be sufficiently reinforced by the bottom reinforcing plate 18, and therefore has extremely high durability, at the same time has excellent sealing performance, and has strength enough to withstand repeated use. Since it is small, the number of manufacturing steps is also small and it can be provided at low cost.

The four bottom flaps 172 to 175 are also provided.
Among them, the bottom surface flap 174 connected to the front surface plate 14 and the bottom surface flap 172 connected to one side surface plate 12 are partially bonded, and the bottom surface flap 175 connected to the rear surface plate 15 and the other side surface plate 13 The bottom flap 173 connected to the part is partially adhered, and the bottom opening is closed by combining the bottom flap 173 with the box raising and closing the bottom opening. Therefore, when raising the returnable box in the folded state to the box raising state. The four bottom flaps 172 to 175 are automatically combined with each other in the form of a swastika when the box is raised to close the bottom opening.
Therefore, no special manual work is required to close the bottom opening, and unlike the type where four bottom flaps are gathered together to cover the bottom as close as possible, a part of them overlaps to cover the bottom, so the structural strength of the bottom is improved. You can secure enough.

Furthermore, the front plate 14 and the side plates 12,
13 has a height that exceeds the height of the box at the time of packaging,
A part from the upper edge to the height of the box at the time of packing is folded inward when the upper surface plate 16 closes the upper surface opening, and receives the peripheral edge of the upper surface plate 16, folding flaps 14a, 12a,
Since 13a is configured, when the articles are stored in the returnable box 11 which is raised from the folded state to the box-raised state, and the upper plate 16 closes the opening, the rear plate 15 to which the upper plate 16 is connected is attached. Except front plate 14 and left and right side plates 12, 1
By folding inward the folding flaps 14a, 12a, 13a provided as folding allowance portions at the respective upper end portions of the upper surface 3, the peripheral edge of the upper surface plate 16 can be supported in a frame shape, whereby the upper surface plate 16 can be supported by the front plate. Sufficient sealing strength can be obtained even by only partially locking it to 14, and small objects can be stacked on top plate 16 for conveyance, and the top opening can be sealed without using adhesive tape or staples. Since it can be stopped, the durability is not impaired even if it is used repeatedly, and it can be used repeatedly over a long period of time.

Further, the front plate 14 and the back plate 15 are slightly curved in the folded state, and due to the shortening of the width dimension (dW) associated with the bending, the inner width dimension Ws in the box-raised state and the outer width dimension in the folded state. Wf is almost the same. That is, as can be seen from the shape of the opening surface shown in FIG. 4, the folded returnable box 11 has several folded plate thicknesses at the central portion and the peripheral portion, so that the back plate 15 and the front plate 14 or the upper plate are not formed. The face plate 16 is slightly curved in a horizontal X shape,
The tension that causes this bending keeps the substantial planar projected area slightly smaller than the box-raised state. Therefore, it is possible to carry several sets of folding boxes that are in the same folding case in the folded state and carry them, which maximizes the convenience of carrying an empty traveling box. . In addition, the box folded in this way has a back plate 1
5 and the front plate 14 or the upper plate 16 are forcibly folded in a state of being bent under tension, and in particular, the two side plates 12 and 13 are subjected to a restoring force for opening in a V shape. As a result, when stored in a box in a box-raised state, this restoring force acts to press the inner wall of the storage box from the inside, and the storage box easily pops out of the storage box. There is no such thing, and the ability to maintain the stored state is excellent.

As described above, according to the present invention,
A pair of left and right side plates that can be folded inward along the central longitudinal line, a front plate and a back plate connected through the pair of side plates, and an opening and closing at the upper edge and the lower edge of the back plate, respectively. An upper surface plate and a bottom surface flap that are freely connected are provided, and an upper surface plate that is openably and closably connected to the upper edge portion of the rear surface plate extends the pair of side surface plates in a flat plate shape so that the front surface plate and the rear surface plate face each other. In the folded state in which the front plate and the rear plate are aligned with each other by sandwiching the side plate while covering the upper surface opening and folding the pair of side plates inward along the central longitudinal line in the folded state. Four bottom flaps that are folded over the face plate and openably and closably connected to the lower edges of the front plate, the side plate, and the back plate cover the bottom opening in the box-raised state, and In the folded state Since the front plate, the side plate, and the back plate are folded on top of each other, when the articles are not stored, the left and right side plates are folded inward, and the back plate is directly inserted through the left and right side plates. By stacking the face plates and folding the top plate and the bottom flap, which are connected to the upper and lower sides of the rear plate, on the front plate, the wall thickness of 4 to 5 sheets can be suppressed to such an extent that they overlap vertically. Since the flat area does not exceed the size of the front plate and the back plate, it is very convenient to carry. Therefore, while maximizing the volume in the raised state of the box assembled in a three-dimensional shape, it can be folded flat. , Can be folded into a flat plate in the most compact form,
In addition, since the foldable returnable container is easy to assemble and disassemble and is lightweight, it has an excellent effect such that it can provide a returnable container suitable for periodical product transportation assuming repeated use. .

Further, according to the present invention, a bottom surface reinforcing plate is provided inside the bottom surface flap means so as to be openable and closable along the lower edge portion of the back plate, and when the box is raised, the bottom surface reinforcing means overlaps the inside of the bottom surface flap means to reinforce the bottom surface flap means. However, in the folded state, since the side plates are folded after being stacked on the back plate, the bottom reinforcing plate can reinforce the strength of the bottom flap means when the box is raised, so the durability is extremely high, At the same time, it has an excellent sealing property, has a strength enough to withstand repeated use, and has a small number of bonding points during manufacturing, and thus has the effects of being manufactured at a low manufacturing cost and being provided at low cost.

Further, according to the present invention, among the bottom flap means, the bottom flap connected to the front plate and the bottom flap connected to one side plate are partially adhered, and the bottom flap connected to the back plate. And the bottom flap connected to the other side plate are partly adhered to each other, and the bottom opening is closed by combining the bottom flap with the box raising,
When raising the returnable box in the folded state to the raised state, the four bottom flaps are automatically combined with each other in the shape of a claw to close the bottom opening when raising the box. No manual work is required, and unlike the type where the bottom flaps are gathered together to cover the bottom as close as possible, the bottoms are partially overlapped to cover the bottom, so that the structural strength of the bottom can be sufficiently secured. Further, according to the present invention, the front plate and the side plate have a height exceeding the height of the box at the time of packing,
Since the part from the upper edge to the height of the box at the time of packing is folded inward when closing the upper surface opening with the upper surface plate to form a folding flap that receives the peripheral edge of the upper surface plate, from the folded state When articles are stored in a returnable box that has been raised in a box-raised state, and when closing the top opening, the front plate and the left and right side plates except for the back plate connected to the top plate are provided with folding allowances at the upper ends. By folding the folding flap inward, the peripheral edge of the top plate can be supported in a frame shape, which allows sufficient sealing strength to be obtained by only partially locking the top plate to the front plate. ,
Small items can be stacked on the top plate for transport, and the top opening can be sealed without using adhesive tape or staples, so durability is not impaired even after repeated use, and it can be used for a long period of time. It has the effect that it can be repeatedly used.

In addition, the front plate and the back plate are slightly curved in the folded state, and due to the shortening of the width dimension due to the bending, the inner width dimension in the box-raised state and the outer width dimension in the folded state are substantially the same. In the folded returnable box, the thickness of several folded plates differs between the central part and the peripheral part, and the back plate and the front plate or the top plate are slightly curved in a horizontal X shape. By holding the tension that is applied so that the projected area of the plane is slightly smaller than that in the box-raised state, it is possible to carry several folded sets in the box-raised state even if they are the same returnable boxes. As a result, it is possible to maximize the convenience of carrying an empty carrying box, and it is easy to return and store it. Moreover, in the folded box, the back plate and the front plate or the top plate bend with tension. To the state Since the restoring force that tries to open in a V shape acts on the side plate that is folded with little effort and especially folded in half, this restoring force will cause the stored box to be stored when stored in the box in the raised state. By pressing the inner wall of the storage box from the inside, the box to be stored does not easily pop out of the storage box, and there is an effect such that the stored state is excellently maintained.
