2. Description of the Related Art In a conventional rotary drum type clothes dryer, an object to be dried is put in the drum, and hot air is supplied into the drum while rotating the drum so that the hot air contains the humidity of laundry. The clothes are dried by repeating the process of exhausting the water from the drum, condensing the water vapor contained in the exhausted warm air, converting it into water, and discharging it out of the machine. That is, hot air is circulated through the rotating drum, water contained in the laundry is taken in as steam in the process, and the taken-in steam is condensed and dried. In the laundry, lint is separated during the drying process and moves with warm air, but if this lint enters the circulation air passage, it blocks the air passage and prolongs the drying time. It will cause trouble. Therefore, in this type of clothes dryer, a yarn waste collecting device composed of a mesh filter is provided in the circulating air passage after passing the clothes so that the drying operation is not hindered.

However, when the above-mentioned conventional clothes dryer continues to be used while the thread waste is collected in the filter, the hot air passage is deteriorated and the dryer performance cannot be exhibited. , Thread dust leaks into the main body from the gaps such as the bearings of the drum, and dust accumulates on the motor, causing the temperature of the motor to rise and leading to unexpected accidents such as fire. A motor cover is attached to protect the motor from dust to prevent accumulation. When the motor cover is attached, the heat of the motor is trapped and the temperature rises, so a cooling fan is attached to the motor to cool it. Furthermore, the vibration of the motor is transmitted to the motor cover through the outer frame, and a chattering noise is generated between the outer frame and the motor cover, so the anti-vibration material is sandwiched between the outer frame and the motor cover. It has become an expensive clothes dryer.

According to the present invention, when the clothes dryer is viewed from the front, the motor of the clothes dryer is located below the rotation center position of the drum and to the lower right when the rotation of the drum is counterclockwise. , Located on the lower left side in the clockwise direction. The circulation duct is on the lower side of the drum opposite to the motor position,
In addition, a gap is provided between the outer frame and the outer frame. An outer frame exhaust port is provided on the upper side surface of the outer frame opposite to the motor position with respect to the drum. Further, the fan casing is provided with an air passage groove for blowing the cooling air generated in the heat exchanger of the air blower to the motor.

As a result, when the dust floating in the outer frame falls on the upper surface of the rotating drum, it falls to the opposite side of the motor due to the rotating airflow and the rotating force of the rotating drum, and to the areas other than the upper surface of the rotating drum. For the falling objects, the cooling air of the heat exchanger is directly applied to the entire motor, whereby a wind barrier is stretched on the motor and dust can be prevented from accumulating.
