2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there has been known a binding band in which a locking portion for locking the tooth is provided on one end side of a band portion having serrated teeth formed on one surface side. It is used for binding members, especially long members (for example, filaments such as electric wires). This type of binding band
It is common to provide a locking claw that engages with and locks the teeth of the band part in the insertion hole of the locking part that inserts the band part.
The cross section of the locking part orthogonal to the insertion direction of the band part may be slightly larger than the cross section of the band part, and when bound, the locking part becomes a joint of the band part, for example, in the case of a linear body or the like. It is possible to bind the filaments into a substantially circular cross-section. Such a binding band is, for example,
It is described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 1-94265.

Next, the binding by the binding band 11 will be described together with the action with reference to FIG. In the present embodiment, a case will be described in which, as the member to be bound 15, a plurality of electric wires 15a that are connected in parallel are bound together to bind the FFC. First, the binding band 11 is placed in a state where the tooth 12 side is the back surface, and the FFC 15 is aligned and placed at a position where one side is substantially aligned with the end of the plate-shaped portion 14. Next, the band portion 13 is bent and inserted into the insertion portion 16 at a position corresponding to the width of the FFC 15. Next, the band portion 13 is further pulled out (inserted) from the insertion portion 16 so that the teeth 12 are engaged with the locking claws 17 and locked to bind the FFC 15 together. After this, the FF of the plate-shaped portion 14
The excess band portion 13 protruding from the back side of C15 is cut, and this binding work is completed. When the band portion 13 is pulled out from the insertion portion 16, it is sufficient that the plate portion 14 is not deformed. At this time, the FFC 15 has the plate-shaped portion 14 with the one surface side as it is.
While being in contact with the flat surface, the band portion 13 is tightened and bound by an appropriate force.

Further, since the FFC 15 can be bound without being deformed, it is possible to control the binding position and the binding dimension. In addition, the flat member of the FFC15 to be bound
Instead of the wire harness 15, when a wire harness or the like whose cross-sectional shape is deformed is bound, a part thereof can be bound along the plate-shaped portion 14. Further, as another aspect of the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, the plate-shaped portion 14 may be a plate-shaped portion 24 having a thicker wall. With such a configuration, the strength of the plate-shaped portion 14 can be increased, and as shown in FIG. 5, the band portion 13 is pulled out too much from the insertion portion 16 and the plate-shaped portion 14 bends to deform the FFC 15. It is possible to prevent the binding from becoming incomplete.

Further, on the back surface side of the binding member 15 of the plate-like portion 14,
As shown in FIG. 6, by forming at least one rib 25 (two in the figure) extending in the longitudinal direction, the plate-shaped portion 14 can be formed without increasing the thickness of the plate-shaped portion 14. Strength can be increased. Further, although not shown in the drawing, a plurality of band portions 13 are provided and the insertion holes are correspondingly provided.
By arranging 16 in parallel, it is possible to restrict the FFC 15 from being displaced and oblique to the binding band 11, which is effective when fixing the binding band 11. Further, at this time, the banding width can be made finer by shifting the positions of the insertion holes 16 in the extending direction and arranging them side by side for each band portion 13.
