Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall material with light weight and excellent mechanical strength by forming a cubic material such as a circular cylinder by partly coupling a plurality of peripheral surfaces of a linear resin foamed moldings, and providing spaces along the long axes of a resin foamed molding surfaces. SOLUTION: A matrix-like structure member 1 is formed of a plurality of rod-like resin foam moldings 4 having many foams 3 in skins 2. The each molding 4 is formed by partly coupling the adjacent moldings 4 to the peripheries of the skins 2, bundling them and forming in a cube such as a circular cylinder, a prism or a cone. In this case, the member 1 has spaces 5 formed along the long axes of the moldings 4 between the moldings 4. The resin for constituting the member 1 includes, for example, polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, ABS resin, polycarbonate, and polyethylene.

2. Description of the Related Art Various resin foam moldings called sponges or foams have been provided and used for various purposes. The resin foam-molded body is obtained by, for example, mixing a foaming agent into a resin mixture such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), filling the mixture in a pressure-resistant mold, and heat-molding it under a high-pressure press to form a gelled PVC. Gas is enclosed in the cell membrane to form a foam having innumerable bubbles. In the resin foam molding, the inside of the integrated structure is made to have a full-scale foam, thereby providing heat insulation,
In addition, we are trying to reduce the weight. Further, in the resin foam molding, the weight reduction and the mechanical strength are adjusted by the size of the bubbles, but their mutual relationships are contradictory.
When the weight is reduced, the mechanical strength becomes insufficient, and when trying to maintain the mechanical strength, the weight becomes heavy, and it is difficult to adjust it, and when the cross-sectional shape of the molded body becomes large, the bubbles in the outer portion and the central portion Are different in size, and are small in the outer part and large in the central part, resulting in a dense and dense state. In such a cross-sectional state, the user is given a strong sense of anxiety.

The matrix-shaped structural member 1 of the present invention can be obtained, for example, as follows. As shown in FIG. 2A, a feed material such as a resin forming the linear resin foam molded body 4 and a foaming agent is charged from a hopper 9 of the extruder 8. The feed material is melted by the heat of the heated cylinder 10 and the frictional heat of the rotating screw 11, and is transferred by the screw 11 toward the die 12. The feed material is a screw 1 in a cylinder 10.
1, the material is sufficiently heated, mixed and pressurized. As shown in FIG. 2 (B), the die 12 is provided with a large number of nozzle holes 13 for forming a matrix, and the sufficiently heated, mixed, and pressurized feed material is the nozzle holes 13 concerned. More extruded. The shape of the extruded material is regulated by the sizing device 14 to have a desired shape, and thereafter, although not shown, the material is solidified by the cooling water in the water tank and taken by the take-out machine. At that time, the skin 2 of the linear resin foam molded body 4 can be formed on the surface by quenching. The resin in the feed material extruded from the nozzle hole 13 of the die 12 swells when it comes out of the nozzle hole 13 due to the mixed foaming agent and the pressure applied by the screw 11. However, since the shape is regulated by the sizing device 14, the linear resin foam molded products 4 arranged in a matrix are maintained by partially contacting each other inside and sizing in the length direction. The space 5 is formed between the linear resin foam moldings 4 in the longitudinal direction.
Is formed. In the above, the space portion 5 having an arbitrary size can be formed depending on how the sizing device 14 makes contact during sizing. Further, by providing a pattern such as a woodgrain-like grain pattern on the wall surface of the sizing device 14, the matrix-like structural member 1 having a pattern such as a woodgrain-like grain pattern can be obtained.

The effects obtained by the typical ones of the inventions disclosed in the present application will be briefly described as follows. That is, the matrix-like structural member in the present invention, as described above, a plurality of independent rod-shaped resin foam moldings are partially welded on the peripheral surface thereof, and are gathered in a matrix like a log house. In addition, since a plurality of space portions are formed along the length direction of the resin foam molded body between the rod-shaped resin foam molded bodies, it is excellent in heat retention, heat insulation, and a sound deadening (sound absorbing) effect. Will also be expensive. Excellent strength against load. In addition, each resin foam molded product has its own skin layer and a space is formed between the resin foam molded products, so even if the expansion ratio is increased to reduce the weight, mechanical strength is increased. It is possible to maintain excellent strength without deteriorating. Moreover, since the linear resin foam moldings are arranged in a matrix, it is possible to form a uniform cross-sectional structure regardless of the size of the shape, and it is possible to reduce the anxiety of strength as in conventional products. . In terms of manufacturing method, it is possible to easily obtain the above-mentioned material having high heat retention, heat insulation, sound deadening and sound absorbing effects, light weight, and excellent mechanical strength by partial welding due to sizing regulation.
