Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mole-capturing method skillfully taking advantage of the repairing habit of a mole while preventing the detouring of the mole around the tool by the learning effect and to obtain a capturing tool satisfying the gist of the capturing method. SOLUTION: This capturing tool using the capturing method is composed of the following parts assembled in a triangular form and placed on the ground. (1) A sensing part 13 to detect the motion of a mole and generate an initial signal, (2) a connection lever 7 to connect the sensing part 13 and an ejection part and (3) an ejection spring 5 built in a spear and ejecting the spear 3 upon receipt of the signal. In the case of liberating an ejection spring force of 15kg/cm (ejection spring constant of 3kg/cm × compression stroke of 5cm), the force necessary for actuating the sensing plate is 5-10g.

[Means to solve the problem] For many years, while observing the behavior of moles, I realized that even if I crushed the tunnel (passage) many times, I found that there was a habit of returning to the original state, and I found the following means to utilize that habit. . (1) Intentionally crush a part of the tunnel that is going to be dug and set it on it. (2) Apply the movement of the rising soil when repairing the part where the mole is crushed to the operation of the capture tool.

[Operation] (FIG. 1) is a perspective view of a catching tool having such a mechanism. The operation will be described with reference to FIG. (1) Push the compressed firing spring into the setting bar ▲ 15
Support with ▼. (2) Pull down the connecting lever and hook the hook groove at the tip to the hook (10) fixed to the rotating shaft. At the same time, the firing spring stopper on the upper end of the connecting lever hooks on the spring receiving seat, and the setting bar (15) can be tilted to the frame side. (3) Remove the hook (10) from the groove and move it within the dotted line at the tip to make it slip. (4) The sensing plate (13) is closely attached to the crushed tunnel and fixed with the lock screw (14). In this state, the sensing plate (13) and the hook (10) will rotate together. (5) In this figure, the mole is approaching from the left rear, but the position of the harpoon is located in the space in front of the sensing plate (13), and there is no room to detect the mole. (6) Sensing plate when moles enter and raise the ground
3 ▼ acts and makes a rotary motion. Since the hook (10) also rotates, the connecting lever is released and jumps up, and at the same time, the firing spring operates in a chain and the harpoon is driven into the ground. The structure of this device can capture small animals and rats on the ground by attaching an adapter to the sensing part. Also, it can be set horizontally, and its application range is wide, and it is not limited to capturing moles.

EXAMPLE An example will be described with reference to FIG. (1) The launch spring is compressed and the safety device is applied to the device. After deciding the place to capture, check the approaching direction of the mole (no problem if you use two), and crush the place where the sensing plate (13) is located by about 10 cm. (2) Make a hole with a diameter of 2 to 3 cm at the boundary between the crushed area and the original uncrushed tunnel, and check the center position of the tunnel while looking. At that time, pierce it with a driver etc. and confirm that there are no pebbles in the path of the harpoon. (3) At the same time as pulling out the driver, pierce the pole right next to the tunnel so that the tip of the harpoon is in the same position.
Adjust the tip of the harpoon to the level of the ground by piercing the pole. (4) While keeping the lock screw (14) of the sensing plate (13) loose, insert it into the rotating shaft (12) and bring it into close contact with the crushed ground. (5) Remove the hook (10) from the hook groove of the connecting lever and move it to the position of the dotted line at the end so that it can be easily removed. (6) Lock screw for sensing plate ▲ 13 ▼ closely attached to the ground ▲
14 ▼ is fixed. The sensing plates can be used interchangeably depending on the location conditions. (7) Tilt the setting bar (15) toward the frame to release the safety device. With the above, all operations are completed. When Mole came and raised the ground 1-2 cm, the harpoon was definitely fired toward the ground.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION Since the catching tool according to the present invention is installed on the ground, the avoidance behavior by learning, which has been a problem in the past, was not observed at all, and excellent results were obtained for a long time. By the way, from October 1990 to March 1992, there are about 3 forests and adjacent fields.
The number of fish caught on the site of 100 tsubo reached 65. The most captured capture record of the summer of 1991 is shown below. 7/5 (1) 7/27 (1) 7/29 (1) 8/2
