Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector thin in structure, which can connect an electrical wire in one operation, and is suitable for installing it in a limited narrow space such as the bottom surface of a floor and the like. SOLUTION: A plurality of conductive metallic channel band plates 2,... are housed in parallel in the inside of a case, each electrical wire insertion hole 3 is formed at both right and left surfaces of the case, and paired right and left curved metallic spring plates 4 are mounted to each channel band plate 2. The flat base part 4a of each spring plate 4 is held by one side plate 2a of each channel band plate 2, and its portion folded back from the base part 4 at the electrical wire insertion hole side, is inclined toward the other side wall 2b along the electrical wire insertion direction, and is curved so as to be elastically in contact with the side wall 2b, so that a contact part 4b is thereby formed, and the other end of the base part 4a is folded so as to be inclined to the other side wall 2b of each channel band plate, so that a retaining locking piece 4c is thereby formed.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, various types of connectors have been proposed which can connect an electric wire or a cable by a one-touch operation of only inserting the electric wire. This type of connector has a structure in which the receiving blade, that is, the contact part, bites into the bare wire to be inserted at a single point, so the wire locking action is insufficient, and the electrical connection is also point contact, resulting in poor connection. There is a problem that it is not suitable for passing a large current due to fear of heat generation. 2 to 3 consisting of a blade and a pressing piece
A point contact type has also been proposed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 3-13974, but it is impossible to remove an electric wire once connected by a complete fixing method from a connector, and the number of parts is large and the structure is complicated. There is such a problem. Further, these conventional connectors have a structure in which the contact portions with respect to the inserted electric wire come into contact with each other from above and below, so that the connector has a large vertical width and is not suitable for being housed in a narrow space such as the floor underside.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention takes the following technical means. That is, the electric wire connecting connector according to the present invention includes a thin synthetic resin case 1 in a plan view which is composed of an upper case 1a and a lower case 1b which are joined by engaging means. Inside the case 1, a plurality of conductor metal channel strips 2 ... Are accommodated side by side, and electric wire insertion ports 3 and 3 leading to these channel strips 2 are formed on both left and right sides of the case 1. A pair of left and right curved conductive metal spring plates 4 and 4 are attached to each channel strip 2, and the spring plate 4 has a flat base portion 4a held by one side plate 2a of the channel strip 2. The part folded back from the base on the wire insertion port side is inclined toward the other side wall 2b of the channel strip along the wire insertion direction and further curved to form the contact part 4b.
The other end is bent toward the other side wall 2b of the channel strip 2 to form a retaining engagement piece 4c. The curved contact portion 4b and the retaining engagement piece 4c are connected to the wire insertion port 3a. In this structure, it is arranged in line with the bare wire insertion hole 3a.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS According to the above construction, as shown in FIG. 5, the bare wire 5a of the wire 5 is replaced with the bare wire insertion hole 3a of the wire insertion opening 3 to make the contact portion 4b of the spring plate 4b. Elastically contacts the surface of the bare wire 5a and presses it against the side wall 2b of the channel strip, and the surface contact ensures reliable electrical connection.
Contact a. When a force is applied in the pull-out direction of the bare wire, the locking piece 4c strongly engages with the bare wire due to an elastic reaction force, exerts a retaining action, and can reliably prevent the bare wire from being pulled out.

The method of use of the present invention and the operation of each part are as follows. That is, as shown in FIG. 5, by making the bare wire 5a of the wire 5 into the bare wire insertion hole 3a of the wire insertion port 3, the contact portion 4b of the spring plate 4 elastically comes into surface contact with the surface of the bare wire 5a. Then, the side wall 2b of the channel strip is pressed, and at the same time, the tip of the locking piece 4c elastically contacts the bare wire 5a. When a force is applied in the pull-out direction of the bare wire, the locking piece 4c strongly engages with the bare wire due to an elastic reaction force, exerts a retaining action, and can reliably prevent the bare wire from being pulled out.
Since the contact portion of the spring plate is arranged in a horizontal posture so as to come into contact with the side wall of the channel strip, it is possible to minimize the vertical thickness of the case.

As described above, according to the connector of the present invention, the bare wire can be surely brought into surface contact with the contact portion of the spring plate only by inserting the bare wire into the wire insertion port of the connector, and can be easily connected to other wires with one touch. Electrical connection can be achieved, and the retaining piece holds the wire insertion posture securely by biting, and the wire can be removed by separating the upper and lower cases if necessary. Wiring work is convenient. In addition, since the contact portion of the spring plate is arranged in a horizontal posture in contact with the side wall of the channel strip, the vertical thickness of the case can be made as thin as possible, and it is possible to reduce the thickness of the bottom surface of the narrow floor. Extremely useful as a connector for underfloor heating,
There is such an effect.
