FIG. 21 illustrates a preferred shape of the chip.
Detailed description
According to the invention, the durability of the tip (preferably of tungsten carbide) is
It is best to keep the chips in contact with the ore fragments as they flow over the chips like a weir.
It can be further strengthened by making it small. Such enhancement is illustrated in Figure 8 (where
Is substantially uniform over the straight edge).
From the state, if any of the edge shapes shown in FIGS. 10 to 14 are not adopted.
Thus, there is minimal flow over some outer area of the tip (thus chip wear
But a greater depth of flow over the central area (ie, fan area)
Is present, thus reducing the tendency of each piece of ore to come into contact with the wear tip, ie
Increasing contact between ores as the ore pieces move from the bed across the wear tip.
Large, and thus a smaller percentage of ore pieces contacting the chips
It is best accomplished by focusing the flow into a state.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 10 has the edge contour of chip A in the form of'V '.
The tip is on a'V 'shaped base (preferably also tungsten carbide).
The wear characteristics can be improved by the installation of inserts or inserts B).
FIG. 11 shows that the sector is in the shape of a groove having a flat bottom area C with an inclined side edge D.
It is another variant. Whether members C and / or D can be independently deformed, or
Alternatively, it may be an assembled structure or a unitary structure.
FIG. 12 is another variation of the theme of FIGS. 10 and 11, which is substantially a'U 'shape.
The shaped sector is present in the chip E.
FIG. 13 has an upper region F which extends to the lower ore holding'V 'which defines a region G
Morphology, many pieces of ore in the bed cannot easily pass through region G, and
Holds the stone wall (probably to the level indicated by the dotted line), so it is like
For example, it works in a manner very similar to the edge C of tungsten carbide in FIG.
FIG. 14 is an assembled edge configuration substantially shaped as shown in FIG.
Other variations within the scope of the invention are also possible, in which the wear tip has a separate
Included are those that can be mounted with holders or blades.
The blade is substantially as described in the prior art or from FIG.
14 to operate in a manner as conceived from the complex configuration shown in FIG.
Mounted in parallel or otherwise adjacent to each other.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate how parts according to the invention may be worn as shown in FIGS.
Whether it is the piece itself or the assembly of the wear piece and the holder therefor.
You will understand. The holders in FIGS. 10 to 14 are generally designated by the symbol I.
And as an example (as in FIG. 8) of the prior art.
Has a number of through holes to allow the holder to be mounted in the rotor.
In the preferred form where a'V 'shaped edge is defined, the ideal angle is
Is about 90 °, ie the steeper form is in the lower region of the embodiment of FIG.
It causes congestion like cracks, while the open groove form is tungsten carbide.
The minimum amount of ore pieces contact the wear surface without providing an optimal ore piece contact flow beyond
Nothing more than. The edge shape also minimizes wear on the surfaces above and below the edge.
, These surfaces are part of an ore breaker.
Preferably the edge-to-edge tip is approximately 100 mm long.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the chip according to the invention is not only incorporated into a new crusher but
It can also be used to derive benefits in row-tech rotary ore crushers.
You will understand.
Within the scope of any one of the foregoing descriptions of the invention or substantially as set forth above.
All forms of the invention are within the scope of the invention.
