Description

吊り下げチェーイン34上流端50において、各 or cans) relates to a package comprising housed in the carton, in particular of a plurality of articles stacked on two or more stages The present invention relates to packages and partition boards used in such packages. Background Art Schuster U.S. Pat. No. 5,246,113 discloses a carton containing articles stacked in two tiers. The articles in the carton are stacked in a state where the lower end of the upper article is placed on the upper end of the lower article. A partition plate is sandwiched between the upper article and the lower article. Two types of such partition plates are disclosed, but both types of partition plates are square flat paperboards. One type of partition plate has a fitting portion into which the ends of the stacked articles are fitted. Both types of dividers have end tabs. The end tabs are used to position the divider plate over the lower article prior to moving the upper article along the top surface of the divider plate to place it over the lower article. DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve or at least mitigate various problems of the prior art. According to the present invention, there is provided an intermediate partition plate for partitioning a plurality of articles stored in a state of being stacked in a carton in a plurality of steps into upper and lower parts between adjacent steps. The partition plate has a deformable fitting portion that nestably fits between the article on the upper side and the article on the lower side thereof. The fitting portion preferably has a hole formed in the intermediate cut plate and a peripheral portion of the hole. In this case, the diameter of the hole should be smaller than the diameter of the rim at the end of the article where the fitting portion fits. The fitting portion is configured so that it can be deformed by the weight of the article itself or an appropriate deformation means before the article is loaded into the carton. The fitting portion may be separated from the other part of the partition plate by a fold line. Such a fold line is preferably composed of a plurality of notches. The plurality of notches are arranged, for example, so as to form a circle, or are arranged substantially parallel to the periphery of the hole. The plurality of cuts may be discontinuous with each other, and these discontinuous portions may function as a hinge between the fitting portion and the partition plate. Further, at least one of the plurality of cuts is preferably configured such that at least one end thereof is bent inward of the hole. Alternatively, the fitting portion may be configured by an annular portion formed between the inner notch and the outer notch. It is preferable that such an annular portion continuously extends in an annular shape so that there is no break. Preferably, the mating portion has a plurality of tabs, at least a portion of the ridge of which is formed by a radial cut. Further, the intermediate partition plate of the present invention is configured to include a conveying means for enabling the intermediate partition plate to be conveyed on a plurality of articles forming one step in a state where the intermediate partition plate does not move relative to those articles. Is preferred. According to the second invention of the present application, there is provided an intermediate partition plate for partitioning a plurality of articles stored in a plurality of stages in a carton between adjacent upper and lower stages. This partition plate is configured to include a transporting unit that is capable of being transported on a plurality of lower articles in a state where they do not move relative to these articles. The transporting means as described above is a means for engaging with an external conveyor and is, for example, a notch or a hole provided in the partition plate. Further, the partition plate of the second invention may be configured to have a fixing means that engages with the lower article so that the middle partition plate keeps a constant position with respect to the lower article. This fixing means is, for example, a lock tab that engages with or abuts the lower article. The lock tab may be foldably connected to the partition plate and may be bent in a direction away from the surface of the partition plate to engage with the article in the lower stage. Further, the partitioning plate of the second aspect of the present invention can perform an operation of engaging the fixing means with the underlying article with respect to a plurality of partitioning plates continuously arranged in a row at both ends thereof. It is preferable to provide operation assisting means for doing so. The operation assisting means is, for example, a notch provided at one end of the partition plate. Further, according to the third invention of the present application, an article group formed by stacking a plurality of articles in a plurality of steps, a carton containing the article group therein, and a step between each step in the article group and its adjacent step. A package including a partition plate for partitioning is provided. The partition plate used in this invention is the partition plate of the first invention or the second invention described above. Further, the fourth invention of the present application provides a carton blank for forming the package of the third invention. It is a perspective view of the package formed by. BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION FIG. 1 shows a packaging apparatus 10 used to form the package of the present invention. The device receives an article to be dispensed (e.g., a can containing beverages) and feeds it into an upper feed channel and a lower feed channel. An intermediate partition plate is placed on the article row passing through the lower supply path, and the fitting portion of the intermediate partition plate is deformed so as to fit properly on the top of the article. Next, the upper articles are stacked on the partition plate. At this time, since the upper article is stacked in alignment with the lower article, the lower end of the upper article is inserted into the fitting portion of the partition plate that is telescopically fitted on the top of the lower article. Nested in. The upper and lower two-stage article groups stacked in this manner and separated by the partition plate are loaded into a carton (in this embodiment, a winding carton). The nesting of the upper article into the lower article will be described later in detail with reference to FIGS. 2 to 5. Goods are not in a very stable state during storage or transportation. Therefore, it is necessary to pack the articles tightly together in a roll-on carton. The partition plate 60 prevents the upper and lower ends of the vertically adjacent articles in the carton from rubbing against each other. Otherwise, a mark (a mark at the end of the article) that does not look good is left on at least one of the adjacent articles. For example, when the article A is made of aluminum and the adjacent ends of the stacked articles frequently rub against each other, a deposit containing aluminum oxide adheres to the end of one article. Also, the movement of the article in the carton can damage the edges of the article (eg, the pull tab of a can). Next, each part of the apparatus 10 shown in FIG. 1 will be described in detail. The lower articles are fed into the packaging device 10 by the conveyor 36 while being arranged in the double-row column. The flow of the row 38 of articles A is regulated by a pair of so-called star wheels 40. The supply mechanism 16 is a device for taking out the intermediate partition plate 60 from the mountain 13 of the intermediate partition plate in the hopper 12. In the case of the mechanism 16 shown in this embodiment, the support member 14 is extended to store a large number of partition plates 60. The supply mechanism 16 has a plurality of vacuum cups. These vacuum cups take the leading partition plate 60 from the hopper 12 and move it to the vicinity of the top of the articles A in the lower row 38. As shown in FIG. 2, the partition plate 60 has a plurality of notches 64 along the side edge thereof. These notches 64 are portions that engage with the packaging device 10. That is, the lug chains 42 are arranged in the vicinity of the tops of the articles A in each row 38, and the notches 64 are engaged with the protrusions of the lug chains 42, so that the intermediate partition plate 60 is conveyed forward. Therefore, by synchronizing the movement of the lug chain 42 with the flow of the article row 38 and the movement of the supply mechanism 16, the article row 38 and the middle partition plate 60 have the fitting portion 62 of the middle partition board in each of the lower row 38. It is sent forward in alignment with the top. The article row 38 and the intermediate partition plate 13 are conveyed below the punching mechanism 18 along the lower supply path. The punching mechanism 18 pushes the lock tab 66 of the intermediate partition plate 60 downward and bends the lock tab 66 into the space between the adjacent articles A in the lower row 38. The article A of this example is a can having a substantially cylindrical shape and having a rim R at the upper end. The diameter of the rim R is smaller than the diameter of the body of the can. Therefore, the lock tab 66 is disposed in the gap between the rims R of the adjacent cans. As a result, the middle partition plate 60 is held right above the article row while the lower article row is moving. Details of the punching mechanism 18 are shown in FIG. In this figure, the perforating mechanism 18 has a cylindrical wheel that is rotated by a drive means (not shown), and a plurality of fingers that extend radially outward of the wheel. The fingers rotate with the wheel about the center axis of the wheel as the wheel rotates. When each finger reaches the lower part of its rotation path, its thinned tip end abuts on the upper surface of the lock tab 66 of the partition plate 60 and pushes down the lock tab 66. The tips of the fingers are preferably rounded with chamfered corners so that they can be easily inserted into and removed from the holes formed by the lock tabs 66. Next, the article row shown in FIG. 3 is conveyed below the deformation mechanism 20. The deformation mechanism 20 is shown in detail in FIG. The deforming mechanism 20 has a cylindrical wheel that can be rotated about a central axis by a driving mechanism (not shown). A plurality of cylindrical cups are arranged in two rows on the peripheral surface of the wheel. Each cup has a rim that tracks the bottom of article A. The movement of the deformation mechanism 20 is also synchronized with the movement of the lower article row 38 and the intermediate partition plate 60. As a result, each cup deforms the fitting portion 62 of the intermediate partition plate 60 and pushes it into the top of the article A below it in a nested manner. For example, as seen in FIG. 5, each article A has an upper surface that is axially recessed with respect to the rim R at its upper end. Therefore, the fitting portion 62 of the partition plate 60 forms a cup-shaped structure extending between the rim R of the corresponding article A and the end surface of the article. The fitting portion 62 deformed to form a cup-like structure is shown in FIG. Due to the action of the fitting portion 62 and / or the lock tab 66 described above, the intermediate partition plate 60 is held in a well aligned state on the article row in the lower stage. By the way, since the lug chain 42 remains engaged with the notch 64 of the partition plate 60 even after the fitting unit 62 is fitted into the article line, this also ensures the accurate alignment of the partition plate 60 and the article line. To be done. Then, the upper article row is stacked on the lower article row shown in FIG. In this example, the upper crystals are introduced into the packaging device 10 by the conveyor 22 while being arranged in a double column. The articles on the conveyor 22 are guided by fixed rails (not shown). The flow of the upper article row 44 is adjusted by the star wheel 46, and then the flow of the upper and lower article rows is adjusted by the adjusting mechanism 48. That is, the adjusting mechanism 48 aligns the upper articles and the lower articles directly below the upper articles so that they are vertically overlapped well. Such an adjusting mechanism 48 includes, for example, a pair of left and right star wheels (not shown) that are long in the vertical direction. Each of these star wheels has a plurality of recesses and a plurality of gear-shaped plates divided into two upper and lower sets. The recesses of the upper set of gear-like plates engage the upper article and the recesses of the lower set of gear-like plates engage the lower article. The recesses of the upper set of gear-like plates and the recesses of the lower set of gear-like plates are aligned with each other, so that the upper article and the lower article are accurately aligned. That is, when each star wheel rotates and the concave portion of the upper set of gear-like plates exceeds the downstream end of the upper article support plate, the concave portion communicates with the concave portion of the lower-piece set of gear-like plates and continues. Forming a shoot. The upper article falls along the chute and is accurately placed on the fitting portion 62 fitted on the top of the lower article below the chute. Such dropping is repeated in sequence to form a two-tiered article group as shown in FIG. The number of articles forming the article group may be any number of two or more. Further, the number of rows of articles in each stage may be one or more. The article group formed as described above is conveyed to the carton loading section by using, for example, a known conveyor of the type arranged below the lower article. In the illustrated embodiment, articles are loaded into a roll-on carton to form a package 100 or 100a as shown in FIG. 14 or FIG. As shown in FIG. 1, a plurality of carton blanks (90 or 90a) are stacked in the hopper 24. Such carton blanks are sequentially taken out by the supply mechanism 28 from the lower end of the mountain 26 of the carton blank. The supply mechanism 28 is substantially the same as the supply mechanism 16 of the partition plate 60 described above. The supply mechanism 28 takes out each carton blank from the hopper 24 and conveys it onto the supply chain 30. The supply chain 30 has, for example, a protrusion that engages a suitable portion of the carton blank. The supply chain 30 conveys the carton blanks below the suspension chain 34. At the upstream end 50 of the hanging chain 34, the top plates 93, 93a of each carton are pressed against the top of the upper article. Then, the side plates 92, 94 of the cartons 100, 100a are folded downward by the folding wheel 32. The bent side plates 92, 94 are guided by the side lug chains 52 and pass by the bending mechanism 54. The folding mechanism 54 is a device for folding the article bottom engaging means 96, 96a provided in the carton inwardly of the carton prior to the step of pressing the side plates 92, 94 against the side surface of the can group. The locking mechanism 56 folds the bottom plate flaps 91, 95 of the carton downwards of the group of articles while the suspension chain 34 continues to press the top of the cartons against the top surface of the group of articles. FIG. 8 is a plan view showing the partition plate 60 of the present invention. As described above, the partition plate 60 has a plurality of fitting portions 62 arranged in a row, a plurality of notches 64 provided on both side edges, and a lock tab 66. By the way, the partition plate 60 also has notches 76 on both edges thereof. These notches 76 on both edges are convenient when a plurality of partition plates 60 are continuously arranged and punched as shown in FIG. Because the notch 76 forms a hole 77 between two adjacent partition plates, and the hole 77 receives the finger of the punching mechanism 18, the fingers and the partition plate 60 interfere with each other during the punching process. do not do. The mating portions 62 of this embodiment each include a plurality of folding tabs 74. Each fold tab is defined by a circular inner peripheral edge 68 and a pair of radially extending notches 72 on the contour of 74. Also, in this embodiment, a notch 70 is provided at the proximal end of the folding tab. Such notch 70 serves as a hinge or fold line since the intermediate partition plate 60 is made of, for example, paperboard. FIG. 9 shows the partition plate 60a of the second embodiment. The parts of this partition plate 60a that are the same as those of the partition plate 60 of the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals with the suffix "a", and description thereof is omitted. In the partition plate of this embodiment, the folding tab 74a has no particular crease line. However, the fitting portion can be deformed into a cup-shaped structure by using the same deformation mechanism as described above. FIG. 10 shows a partition plate 60b of the third embodiment. Also in this figure, the same parts as those of the partition plate 60 of the first embodiment are designated by the same reference numerals with the suffix "b", and the description thereof will be omitted. The fitting portion 62b has a plurality of rounded tabs 74b. The saw-shaped inner peripheral edges of these tabs 74b are formed by corrugated notches 68b. These tabs 74b also do not require any crease lines, and the cup-shaped structure is formed using the same deformation mechanism as described above. However, it is preferable that the tab 74h extends in a range substantially inside the outer periphery of the rim R of the article, as shown by the dotted line in FIG. With such a structure, the tab 74b can act as a partition between the stacked articles. FIG. 11 shows a partition plate 60c of the fourth embodiment. The partition plate of this embodiment also has notches 64c at both edges and notches 76c at both edges. However, the partition plate of this embodiment does not have a bending tab in the fitting portion 62c. The fitting portion 62c is formed by simply making a round hole in the partition plate 60c. The diameter of such holes should be smaller than the diameter of the rim R of the article. By making the diameter of the hole smaller than that of the rim R, it becomes possible to deform the fitting portion 60c of this example into a cup-shaped structure by using a device such as the above-described deformation mechanism. Of course, the cup-shaped structure is also formed by applying a load to the stacked articles themselves. The timing of applying such a load is preferably before connecting the bottom plate flaps of the carton to each other, for example, when a winding carton is used. In particular, in the case of such a partition plate having no bending tab, it is preferable to provide the lock tab 66c. FIG. 12 shows a partition plate 60d of the fifth embodiment. The partition plate of this embodiment also has notches 64d at both edges and notches 76d at both edges. Although not shown, the partition plate 60d is preferably provided with a lock tab 66d. The fitting portion 62d has a movable tab 74d. The contour of the movable tab 74d is formed by an inner notch 68d that extends continuously in a circular shape and a discontinuous outer notch 70d that extends in a substantially circular shape. The outer notch 70d has a pair of inwardly extending ends 71d. These end portions 71d have an effect of enhancing the deformability of the fitting portion 62d and making the fitting portion 62d hard to tear. The movable tab 74d is foldably connected to the partition plate 60d via a pair of hinges 75d. These hinges are formed by the discontinuities of the outer notches 70d. FIG. 13 is a plan view showing a carton blank 90 for forming the package of the present invention. The carton blank 90 includes a first bottom plate flap 91, a first side plate 92, a top plate 93, a second side plate 94, and a second bottom plate flap 95. The plates are connected in a row and foldably together. A so-called bottom sloping plate is oriented between each bottom plate flap and its adjacent side plate. These bottom sloping plates have article bottom engaging means 96 shown in FIG. Further, a top inclined plate is provided between the top plate and each side plate. These top slope plates are foldably connected to the top and side plates on both sides thereof. These top sloping plates have the article top engaging means 97 shown in FIGS. 13 and 14. In the completed package 100 shown in FIG. 14, both bottom plate flaps 91, 95 are partially overlapped with each other in a known manner to form a single bottom plate. Both bottom plate flaps 91 and 95 are held in a state of being overlapped with each other by a known locking means provided on each bottom plate flap. The side plates 92, 94 are longer in height than the side plates of similar known cartons. That is, the article top engaging means 97 and the article bottom engaging means 96 are located farther from each other than usual. Then, among these, the top engaging means 97 and the bottom engaging means 96 of each pair of upper and lower do not engage the same article as in the conventional case, but engage different articles stacked vertically. The cartons shown in FIG. 13 and FIG. 14 are cartons for accommodating a group of articles in which six articles are arranged in two rows and three columns and are stacked in two upper and lower stages. On the other hand, the carton shown in FIGS. 15 and 16 accommodates a group of articles obtained by further stacking eight articles arranged in two rows and four columns in two rows. In the latter carton, the same parts as those of the former carton are designated by the same reference numerals with a suffix "a", and the description thereof is omitted. Of course, it is preferred that these cartons are provided with handle means as shown in each of the figures, or known alternative handle means. In the above-described embodiment, only the package formed by using the articles stacked in the upper and lower two layers is described, but the package or the partition plate of the present invention can be applied to the articles stacked in the three or more layers. .
