When the mobile unit 26 responds to the ringing signal, a dotted line path is formed between the mobile unit 26 and the subscriber 23 to make a call. When the mobile device 26 moves from the zone of the base station 25 1 to the zone of the base station 25 2 as shown by the arrow, the reception level of the base station 25 1 decreases, and conversely the reception level of the base station 25 2 increases. Therefore, the mobile communication switching center 21 switches from the dotted line path to the alternate long and short dash path.
Then, the location registration management unit 24 updates and registers that the mobile device 26 is located in the zone of the base station 25 2 . This allows a tracking switch connection to the mobile.

When the mobile device 16 responds, the base station that receives the response signal transfers it to the calling device 9 of the central control station 1, so that the calling device 9 can easily identify the base station that received the response signal. Then, the communication channel between the base station that receives the response signal and the line control device of the central control station 1 is set, and the sending of the ringing signal to the base station that does not receive the response signal is stopped. Therefore, even in the large zone system, it is possible to call a mobile unit that has moved to a different large zone without performing position registration.

As described above, according to the present invention, the base station 5 in the large zone 4 and the dead zone 4 in the large zone 4 are used in the large zone system in which the location of the mobile device is not registered.
A calling signal for the mobile unit 6 is distributed to the base station 5a of a or other large-zone base station at the calling unit 9 of the central control station 1, and a plurality of base stations 5 and 5a simultaneously transmit the call signal of the mobile unit 6. A call is made, the base station receives a response signal from the mobile device 6 in response to the call, and transfers it to the calling device 9. The calling device 9 identifies the base station that has sent the response signal, and connects to the base station. This is for connecting with the control device 8 and for stopping the transmission of the call signal to other base stations. Therefore, in the large zone mobile communication system in which the location registration of the mobile device 6 is not performed, Also makes a call to a mobile device located in any of the service areas of the base stations of
Moreover, since a communication channel between the base station in the service area where the mobile device exists and the line control device 8 can be set, there is an advantage that the service can be improved economically.
