【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】搬送されてきた通帳類の磁気ストライプの
内容を読み取りあるいは書き込むための磁気ヘッドを具
備した通帳類の取扱装置において、 該通帳類の磁気ストライプと磁気ヘッドとが一致しない
位置まで、該通帳類を搬送した後、下記清掃処理が終了
すると再び該磁気ストライプと磁気ヘッドとが一致する
位置まで、該通帳類を搬送する搬送手段と、 該磁気ヘッドを磁気ストライプ貼付部以外の場所まで移
動させ、研磨材である該通帳類の用紙と該磁気ヘッドを
擦り合わせることにより該磁気ヘッド表面の汚れを清掃
するための磁気ヘッド駆動手段とを具備することを特徴
とする通帳類の取扱装置。

を順次更新し、該計数値の累計が予め設定した値に到達
した時点で、前記搬送手段と磁気ヘッド駆動手段を動作
させて該磁気ヘッド表面の清掃を行うことを特徴とする
通帳類の取扱装置。

ッドで再び該磁気ストライプの内容を読み取ることを特
徴とする通帳類の取扱装置。
