可能である。したがってこの密封装置を装着溝に装着す
る際に、複数のハウジングを軸方向に並べてから密封装
置の装着作業を行なうことが可能となり、よって装置組
立手順の自由度が増大し、その作業性を向上させること
ができる。また従来のような打込み作業が不要であるた
めに、作業時間を短縮することができ、保持部材が歪む
虞もない。また更に装着後、シール部材が保持部材のば
ね性に押されて装着溝内に固定され、シール部材に一対
以上設けられたシールリップがそれぞれハウジングに密
着するために、必要十分な密封効果を長期間に亙って確
